Hi blakospray, i dont think you will find a strain under, that high autoflower is, But its isent so strange that i Works okey, if you read about them, you will se they are, crossed With a strong strain Indica, or sativa, or both, and manipulate, or clon the indica strain or sativa, With rudralis then you have auto fllower. thats what i have understud, and they are going to be stronger evry year they develop them.

Hey everyone :) I have a Blue Diesel Auto (advanced seeds) and I am a bit curious to weather this lady actually is a autoflower... She is a lot bigger than I ever expected for a auto, she is 35 days old from seed 50cm tall branchy and has been pre flowering for over a week! No obvious bud growth or pistols coming through the tops but she has thrown out pre flowers at every node possible with, I actually thought she was flowering because there are so many pre flowers but new leaves are growing from the main top? Each branch top and the main top has a little ball which states the start of flowering, but there has been now leaf growth at the main top and no pistol or bud growth just a heavy pre flower?

I would really appreciate some help and advice with her as I am kind of confused! Here are some pics.

Peace :ying:

Seeing how the Blue Diesel Auto is bred with Bio Diesel...that particular strain takes much longer to harvest. According to more than one source, the Bio Diesel (Auto Diesel x Auto Critical) roughly 9-10 weeks to harvest.

So, I'm surmising your plant is taking on the Bio Diesel characteristics vs. the Auto Blueberry.

Hey airbud, yeas that is the genetics. Ah right I understand that dose make a lot of sense if the bio diesel takes that much time.

I also presume then that she has taken on more of the bio diesel then!

Thanks for the help bud! Peace brother :ying:

Yep...maybe the next BDA will have the Blue traits. It's all good. Should be larger than the usual for an auto, given the gene pool. Enjoy!

Hey airbud, yea maybe the next will have more of the blue traits... I was hoping for more of the blue but oh well I am pleased anyway! She is big already just under 60cm from the soil, I did not expect a auto to get this big! I think she will be over a meter when she is done with her stretch because she is still in pre flower.

Thank you again for the help bud, much appreciation!

Anyone out there have thoughts on how much soil is needed for autos outdoors? 5 gallons too much? 1 too little? Only have 2 plants

thanks in advance!

Depending on how tall it supposedly gets....generally 1 gallon per foot. We usually go 3gallon containers. 5 gallon if super auto.

Sounds good Rob547...grew a Pandora 3 yrs ago......nearly 2 ft. Probably the LR#2 x AK47 will have more girth and side branching. Pandora was similar to one tall fat cola.

Also yes I know I should be using 1k watts in a tent this size but I am only going to be growing a few plants until I can get the funds and get another light........One more thing I was told that you could buy a roll of mylar and put it around a piece of cardboard box and use those like a reflector on the sides to help get more light to the bottom of your plant...............

MH= veg HPS=bloom. Mylar=reflector.
