Fuck Those #$% Ass Cops - Go Hard or Go Home

I dunno atlantic storm, some local east coast strain. could be anything. but i think he said it was already mixed with some sort of diesel , so it's supposed to be like sour D in seed form.

I am about to transplant these 2 and 4 clones that just rooted. w00t! fucking root riot or whatever they're called. finally got something to root in these almost worthless plugs. key to success is HIGH humidity and Low actual moisture in the cubes. i wet em, squeeze em out lightly till they're holding like 10 drops of water. insert cutting put in 99% closed humidity dome. lifted lid once a day to breathe in some of my hot breath or misting..i misted the inside of the lid the first few days. once the humidity is built to the point where it fogs up on its own i will spray the leaves with kelp. that's all i foliar with. maybe mix in some magnesium.

took almost 2 weeks but shit. i'm glad. i thought i wasted $10 on 50 useless rooting plugs.

anyway i'm gonna transplant and decided to mix up more mix. took another brick of coco. Botanicare this time, my store has botanicare or GH brand. depending on how i feel that day i'll buy one or the other. anyway i decided to pH the slurry and see how many PPM's

boy was i surprised. 1100ppm this is slurry not a runoff. this is closer to what the real PPM's are than runoff. pH was 5.2ish. using a meter. i never rinse my coco, i just wet it, and start using it making sure i don't let it get dry after i plant in it, as you can see 1100ppm+ will burn some plants in an instant.

i'm gonna rinse it ...or rather i'm gonna drain it, then i'm gonna soak it again and check the ppms. shit i shoulda thought about this more before i started. i soaked/wet the coco with tap water and i mixed my nutes like i would water my plants. roughly 500ppms after i misx my solution. my water comes out at 200 which is included in the original 500ppm so i'm guessing the coco itself adds 500ppm of K and whatever else elements are naturally in coco coir.

bbl with the results after second rinse.

oh... after the second time i measured the nutes before i poured it on the coco.

so the nutes were 700 this time. i changed my mind about how much i was gonna add. after slurrying for like 30-45 minutes i checked again and it was 1500ppm out this time. ph was 6.2.

I transplanted both plants as well as a surviving misha. which i can say for certain is misha this time. another one of those lazy updates. nothing really going on. only thing in flower is the Strawberries. both of those are gonna be a while since i let the nitrogen go longer this time before stopping. nothing much to see. slightly filling a little bit more than the last pics i took. i trimmed away a bunch of middle stuff. no particular reason. partly to increase bud response. been laggin a little these past 2 weeks. also been hotter somehow. seems the less plants in the cab the hotter it is? maybe i'm just trippin and it's because it's fall in the south and it gets hot and dry as the hurricanes go away.

anyway in the pic its.

I like those min max thermometers so u know how hot and cold it gets during 24 hour cycle. Its a great tool to make sure ur not spiking too much one way or the other.

oh this is the veg cab it's most always around 80-90 degrees depending on whether or not i'm running my AC. but for really accurate measurement around the leaves where it's most important i use an infrared thermometer. i use a digital on in the flower cab that has a hygrometer on it to tell me the humidity. it's usually on -- which means below 30% lol. lights off/overnight i happened to look once. it goes up to like 70%

It looks like even having a small space/light and some humidity issues, you´re overcoming the obstacles and providing some herb for yourself. That´s is what counts at the end.

humidity, too cold one day, too hot another, too much water one day not enough the other. constant battle. like playing super contra. but i think i'm almost graduated to a larger box with easier to control temps. i actually had a perfect box for my setup in 2012. Ex girlfriends... what are ya gonna do. can't live with em, can't drown em in the bathtub and get away with it.

between a month ago and today, lets just say "a lotta shit happened" and leave it at that lol.

the roots were dead on both plants, like completely. i ripped em all off, and transplanted into dry coco about 3 days ago now. i don't think they're gonna make it. but it's not all lost, i passed 2 clones of the Daze and i still have one of the Deez. if they make it i'll just reveg for another seed run. got some Daze crossed seeds, but it's from hermy. i'm gonna do an intentional crossing this time. i think i'll dust the Daze with all my old pollen and the Deez with some controlled pollen. where did i put that g13 dust...

Deez Clone in recovery. i barely saved this one, only had 2 of the whispiest root nubs ever when i put it in here 2 weeks ago.

popped 2 WBK's in there. one regular style one hempy.

Finally got a misha F3 to stay alive. as this is growing up i notice it looks a lot like Ortega in the leaves. i'm wondering if that's actually a Vicky C i have in the other pot or another misha.

this i just popped. i'm not sure what this one is either. most likely some 2014 local outdro. i'm sure i didn't risk any more of my misha seeds. i gotta stop germing seeds when i'm high lol/

this is the Atlantic Diesel. has a strange growth pattern, dunno if you can see it but it's mimicking the mutation. on each node one branch is long the other is really short. all up and down the plant. i just checked at lights on. looks like i might be in for an Atlantic hermy. I see a female flower up top. the second node down has one male and one female preflower on each side of the node. not looking good. hopefully my eyes deceive.

lastly the Victoria Clipper (Vicky C) as you can see super indica in this one. bout beginning of week 4 here, i put in flower with AD one week later. AD been 1 week flower and i think should be showing sex soon. the preflower looked male. hope i'm wrong. if not i'm gonna dust everything with it.

hopefully this worked and i was able to add 10 pictures to one post. if not i'll be edit button.
till next time.

well my observations seems to hold true.

the node that shows sex first determines the state of the plant. this one had 1 male looking preflower on one side and one female on the other. the next node with actual sexed flowers. on 3 of the four corners of the node are pistils, the last corner appears to be a male flower. i'll watch it for a while. maybe it'll go all / mostly girl. i've had hermies start off all girl and go all out...err balls out hermy on me.

we shall see. so far 75% female %25% male.

bbl with tits. err pics.

I'm thinking this is just one fantastic troll thread. I especially liked the joke about how the plants look that way because that's how he wants them to look. Bravo, thanks for making a funny thread for me to peruse while I'm supposed to be working.

thanks for stopping by, but that wasn't the joke. that was just the setup, you completely missed the punchline. I read through your thread to see if yours was equally as amusing. i did not laugh. I don't even know why you call that a torture chamber, those plants hardly look stressed.

WBK#2 (gotta come up with a more catchy name, like kushberry...nah or OGberry...or Bro-G-Erry?) left side i'm doing hempy again, right side plain old coco. for some reason the stem started to rot in this rapid rooter on the all coco plant. more fucking headaches. i dunno why everyone swears by these things. anyway i cleared the coco away from the top of the stem. seems to have stopped hope it doesn't come back or make this plant top heavy later on.

picture.php

group shot from the veg cab. left is Deez, nicely recovered. right is my MF3Blu (Mishaberry i just came up with that. not the final name.) in the front is some mystery seed, i think some of this local outdro i was smoking. real indica. kinda boring and stupefying, i assume cuz it's mass produced and stepped on. could turn out some good smoke. possibly in a cross.

picture.php

Vicky C. roughly 5 weeks from seed, beginning of second week in flower. should show sex soon, it's real stenchy on stem rub. highly piney. i hope not a male. but if so i'll have some fresh pollen to dust on my bitches.

picture.php

Atlantic D. Stretches like a bitch. only just showing sex. like i said top 2 nodes show 3 female flowers on 3 corners. the last corner is blank. this usually means a late hermy. but we'll see. preflowers showed 1 male looking part and one female part opposite corners. might be up to 50% hermy tendency.

picture.php

too bad she might be a stud. she smells really heavy on the citrus smells. more dark towards a lime. don't even need a stem rub just shake a little and sniff the air. look at this shit already doubled in size and twice the height as the VC. anyway, cross fingers, till next time.

It seemed like 9 out of 10 times I picked the healthiest looking best smelling phenos to note, they turned out to be male.

New strain name, og bola? bola kush has a nice ring to it.

Stem rot with those rooting cubes means ur keeping them to saturated, use this next time to make sure u keep them less saturated. I like to give a little push on the cube and if it just shows water barely coming up its perfect. no water, then u need to give it a light splash, and if it easily shows lots of water then u should squeeze some out. Hope that helps ur success rate.

just a few quick pics today.

picture.php

Atlantic D looks to be hermy. gonna watch it and pluck the balls right before they open. if more show up down the line she's gettin axed. i already popped 3 more seeds. the last 3. hopefully something decent comes outta there. i must say these are the most problematic strain i've grown. first few all autoflowered or something in veg, gave some seeds away, this one hermed...will i ever get to smoke this strain?

picture.php

VickyC looks to be a VictorC

picture.php

Local OutDro. looks a lot like the g13 right now. time will tell.

picture.php

MishaF3. looks like the original male genes are showing through in this one. haven't seen this leaf pattern since i added it.

picture.php

Deez revegged. gonna have to start topping this one or put it back in flower or something. luckily i'm working on a new cab. pics when i'm done.

last WBK clone languishing in veg rootbounded and thirsty. no room at the inn my friend.

picture.php

Atlantic. looks like a girl all around, cept there's a ballsack at the bottom of each first flower that sprouted on the branches. from the bottom up it's either one or 2 single male flowers, then the rest is pistils going to the top.
