Durban Poison x PCK

The DP x PCK (name pending)

In the summer or 2013 I open pollinated a pack of PCK with some durban gals nearby for some good paki love. What became of the mingling of two heavily inbred lines is nothing short spectacular.

It grows short and squat with good branching, and a bit of stretch during flower with pink, purple and green phenos, It "finishes" early September but should be taken till late september for the best high/smell/taste.

As for phenos, they all finish within a week with slight variation between the respective colors. All phenos are very sticky, yield well and are quite crystalline, the pink/purple phenos however have a forest berry smell underneath the cleaner lemon pledge smell that is unreal and reminds me a bit of fruit loop cereal. Where as the Green phenos are more incencse, lemon pledge, blonde hash VERY old school in high and flavour.

There is a semi-auto gene present in F1's as when I took them from indoor to outdoor they flowered and reverted twice.

A real breeders strain once It has been inbred a few gens.

I will post a couple more pics of late flower and dried shots, including a smoke report, I have sampled the green pheno and it is very old school in smell, taste and high. Really get's the mind going and quite potent.

Dutch Passions It's an IBL that was gifted to me and was worked from original DP stock. Early flowering, like SamS Durban P.. Two phenos no matter how much you bottleneck the durban. There's a more airy budded incense pheno and a more dominant pheno that is a bit tighter with spear shaped buds and more pungeunt slightly overripe pineapple smell, but both share a common and unmistakable "durban" smell.

I actually crossed the " Paki Poison" to GPS's BlueBerry and Joey Weeds BlueBerry and am looking for a few indoor testers that can start right away if anyone is interested.

Hi BT,

You can consider me interested!

I'm a personal med grower with a 150w vert hps and using FFOF/coco soil. I have too many house plants to count, and the strains you are working sound beautiful. Here if you need me, resume in my signature.

Thanks,
BeL

Nice cross!
Regarding the 'semi-auto' trait, how many hours of sunlight did they get outside?

BTW The Tropical Seed Company has a similar one called Durbakistan ;) .

Cool choice of strains for a hybrid. :tiphat: Durban has always been one of those I want to try.

There's a video on youtube with Mel Frank talking about Durban, and I think he says something along the lines of it was his greatest weed achievement. Maybe I can find the video... I imagine dutch passion's line of durban originated from Mel's.

Nice heads up on tropical seed co's Durbakistan, it would be cool to inbreed browntrout's and tropical's, then bring them together for an hybrid F1 of the two separate lines.

I posted it another thread, but there's some funny weed comedy movie, i forget the name, but the family breeds durban x afghan and it's supposed to be the finest pot ever...

Only_ornamental, I have seen their "Durbankistan" and the durban used was a more pure sativa based plant as the DP line show's some Indica traits in flowering time and veg leafs. It is commonly speculated that Indian Genes somehow made it to south africa during a few early years and is what created the Early flowering DP lines. It's a truly very unique plant, some Nepalese plants are refereed to as the missing cannabis link and I would attest the durban poison much better fits that description.

When bred to F1's and non IBL strains it is extremely dominant, I have seen strains with one quarter durban in them with a near bang on Durban smell and structure/traits.

PrimalHaze,

I think an F1 between the two Durban x PCK plants would result in a very nice strain of Old School weed with a big advancement in each department.

Thanks for the vid.

Grape poison :)
Might as well not even try to incorporate the whole Durban, and Paki in the name.
Kinda start with a completely fresh name to start your line with, and this would be your Stud/Staple strain that started it all :)
Cant wait man!!! I want to participate :)
