Fire OG bagseed project

So I rarely get seeds in my fire og but every great once in a while I find one or two in a pound.
Ive got 7 I pulled from over 3 pounds (couldn't find anymore) and it just happened to be an extra bomb run.
Ive been holding on to these seeds for months now debating on whether to crack em or not.
Today is crackin day!
The seeds look very healthy and im praying for a nice male it would be AWFUL nice to have some pure fire og pollen to knock up a few other ladies with.
Or maybe an extra bomb pheno expression of the fire.

was still getting used to my 600 watter and not cloning yet, I did throw the top in a rooter when I topped her but it didn't take. She was a champ on all fronts. You're a lucky guy Stoney.

My fire is already phenominal but let me go ahead an be a dick for a second and say im kinda burned out on the smoke personally, I wont ever stop growing my original clone only its been my staple for years now. Id love to find something a little different but im really hoping for a studly male...

That looks like it was gonna yield pretty well whiteberries. Ive lost a few favs over the years...
Best way to see that one is more room for new favorites!

5 of the 7 seeds cracked already and I put em in dixies today. Seed 6 will crack but looks like 7 is gonna be stubborn or not at all.
Just over 24 hours... not too shabby eh???

Not too shabby indeed, I wouldnt count that last one out, I had an Ice Cream that took 5 days and it was the beast of the bunch. That'll be sick if you get a beast-mode Fire pheno.

And I had to take her down a day or two after that picture, had another "House OG" bagseed next to her that blew a wad all over the place. 6 weeks, 60 grams. Another 4 weeks, probably would've beat the record I set before it. I dunno wtf I retired that pot, 5 gal pot, 100 or so holes drilled in it. I'm gonna resurrect it for my next one.

I wouldn't be holding my breath for the male bro. Odds are u r getting the random seed because of a little late flowering hermy. While these might be great s1's to find something awesome, unless u had some male in the area before they should be all female.

I used to throw away all my random seeds like this, but after seeing several threads talking about the great keepers and some special clone only elites, seems like its worth looking thru these.

Im happy with a nice female keeper too... the fire by itself is hands down top 3 ogs ive ever smoked or grown.
If I found a pheno that didnt stretch so much and yielded more I wouldnt be too upset either.
I do ok 1p a light on 600s an ive gotten up to 6 oz per plant on a long veg scrog but theres always room for improvement.
But my real goal is im hoping to get something special dont care of it yields 1 or 2 ounces a plant.

Its not a long shot at all actually. I always thought s1s would be female or mostly female with the potential to herm. I always get this crazy og from my boy he will never give out the cut. One time, i got the trim from a batch to make hash with. I found 3 seeds in the bag and i germinated them all. Two of them were SOLID males. 100% male plants. I even let them go extra weeks before i culled them to see if they developed pistils. NONE. Not to mention the 100% solid female i have today which in 4-5 runs or so has NEVER thrown one nanner or produced a single seed. I still run her and she is insane.

I think stoney has a real shot at getting a good male or a dif representation of the fire itself. The s1 i just showed you is very similar to the original cut my boy has but its def not the same, not as sweet or candied in smell and taste. Its more spicey. Anyway im really looking forward to seeing the progress here. Good luck!

thought I posted? :/ damn tabs. Your (51/50)OG sounds like it gave you the 101st percentile Crooked. Males from s1's are pretty got-dang uncommon from my reedins. Did you know the dude well enough to know if he had any males going? Either way, love the structure of that crazy bish.

FWIW Stoney that 6 weeker up there had pretty tight nuggets, lemon-pine kush aroma and would've owned her moms nugs given 10 weeks.

Hes a close friend and the room he actually flowers that strain in is only filled with that strain. Nothing else. Also its the only one that throws the occasional nanner AND it produces HUGE seeds. The biggest ive ever seen. He doesnt breed either. No pollen around.

Believe me, i was baffled. I was expecting 3 virtual genetic copies. Instead 2 males and one female that has some seriously different qualities of smell while retaining very similar swollen calyx structure. After seeing how sick the girl is boy do i wish i kept those males. If this hadent happened to me in real life and i was reading about this, i would call it a lie. But its true.

Pollen can travel a long way. Since its not ur room u don't know for sure that some pollen could have accidently been introduced to it such as ur friend visiting another grow, or some pollen landing on his shirt from outdoors, and then getting in his room.

Those are just as possible, probably more so than getting a male from a s1. But I keep an open mind, I still think it might be possible. Just low, low odds.

I recently popped and ran 300 fem WiFi's and found 3, true males ( 3% ). of the 3, 1 was outstanding, and grew/looked like a female, only with all balls ! again was waiting and scoping for pistils, but none showed...used that stellar "male" to knock up a few nice female's ( BC OG Kush, Sweet Tooth#3, King and Master Kush ). should all be really nice, me thinks...

Well ive got my eye out everything will be cloned before it gets flowered.... we wont be throwin out any 1 in a million males in this camp...lol well not if we can help it at least!!!
Ive got another small room I can setup in a hurry to house everyone if they all happened to be male.
I do want to breed this fire og anyways so im gonna need to have a male area set up and look into ways of keeping him truely isolated from my flower room.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
How hard core do you need to get to contain the pollen? Ive never really dealt with males
