Yea. So chances are the fish is processed separetly from the crustaceans and then the two are combined in stabalized forms. Industrially chitosan is the product of an acid base reaction but it is tough to see how na or k salts could be avoided.

Doesn't matter stuff works. I just hate mysteries...chem or Chem

I am putting a new order together, as I am out of almost everything. Anybody have a list of bottles that one should buy? I printed out the product label on every product AEA and Taino has to offer, in hopes of studying them and figuring out what all these products do once and for all. Any input would help a ton.

Did this foliar with atomizer this morning:
per gal
photomag 15 ml
pht phos 15ml
pht potassium 10ml
sea stim 20
micropak 3ml
micro 5000 1ml
pepzyme 1 ml

Yesterdays drench
1.5ml bloombastic(for the fuck of it)
15 ml sea stim
15 rejuvenate
10 photmag
5 sea shield
5 sea crop

also added 10 ml Mo salute to the 200 gal tank not per gal.

Plants are responding well to high inputs, largely because my 2nd run mendo mix( coco mostly) is fairly weak in nutrition. Also used several acres spectrum xtra, biogenisis and many pepzymes in a 20 x100 gh which helped jump start everything quite well.

Bulldog I would get almost everything besides the dry stuff. Def get the Micro5000 and pz1000 from taino and thier pepzyme c. Hyper cap and k, cano3, and Mo salute are also good to have around.

I notice you are going a little below recommended amounts. (from what I can tell from this thread) I thought it was 3/4 - 1 oz, and you are about half that with most measurements. Did you cut back because we are late in the season? Or is that what you have been using all year long?

Thanks for the response to my question as well, anybody else chime in?

I can appreciate the AEA focus on germination products in particular Bio-Coat Gold and Initiate, but they have a fine source for the base of MagCo Plus which aids in separating its function from the atypical cal-mag product lines.

What is Mo salute?

Also, how are people deciding which of the pepzymes to use? is the only difference between them the mineral salt charges?

Anyone using any of the other Tainio microbial products? I'm looking at the labels and many of them seem to be the same. For instance Spectrum vs Spectrum Extra. The BA rep recommended Spectrum Extra specifically but the label ingredients are identical between the two.

Spectrum extra theoretically converts na into k. Other than that they are identical. Only use extra if you have high na soil.

I like to alternate pz 1000 and micro 5000 every other week. Something to do with protein metabolism that I don't yet grasp but I trust the tainio guys.

Mykogen is biogen plus mykos...no reason not to use myko if you don't use acid phosphates.

The question I have is why not just spectrum instead of biogen. The differece is the food (whey) and housing(diatomaceous earth). Really do not see an advantage in our high organic soils....food and shelter already exist.

I use pep c...never looked at the others cause I love this one so much. Maybe if you could actually be certified organic it would matter

Edit...the salute line is individual miros. With sap testing it would allow you to really fine tune.

Here is what I am going with.
AEA lineup:

Sea Shield
Sea Stim
Sea Crop
PHT phosphorus
PHT Potassium
PHT Calcium
Rejuvenate
Photo Mag
Micropak

Tainio Lineup:
Pepzyme Clear
PZ 1000
Spectrum Extra
Bio Genesis I

Anybody use Initiate? Does it really help with cannabis germination? Seems like it helps with kick starting the soil for seedlings and as a pre-soak for the seeds themselves.

Don't forget humacarb, it's nice to have around.

Anyone planting cover crops after harvest and spraying rejuvenate, pepzyme c, and spectrum on the crop residue? I went with hariy vetch and winter rye in a few beds.

Mo salute is useful for combating bortytis. It's already in micropak but I decided to give my plants extra because my buds are larger than I'm used to this year.

Blue dream is looking great today, 9+ ft tall.

BD,...dude, just buy them all they arent expensive. Double up on the sea shield and rejuvenate. All the organic ones are solid to have around. I even keep calcium nitrate and hypercap around just cause.

Initiate so far has shown to do exactly what the label claims, yes with cannabis seeds. Do not try to do something to make it better or add your own juju. Ive had great results following the label to the letter. I trial ran it on half a pack of relentless beans I had two packs of. The beans I used the initiate with are out performing the ones without right out of the gate. . .Second trial same results...third trial starting now.. Its key if you listen to Kempf talk about how a corn plant determines its yields at harvest as early as 9-12 days old and only there is only a 3 day window for that to occur. So superior health from early on can be a factor in keeping yields from being lost. Im not saying this holds true for cannabis but something similar could be in effect that we have yet to uncover. Certainly a stress free emergence is a large factor in the vigor and overall health that Ive noticed in trying to attain that perfect run...

Id suggest bio-digester for between crops if you reuse your soil. I use a small chipper and break down all the stems/stalks after harvest and turn them into the soil or the compost pile. I havent tried the myco_genesis and Im wondering why AEA doesnt stock it?

When it comes to fungi, I stick with Paul Stamets, thats the dude. MycoGrow soluble is what I prefer. Yea Ive heard all about trichoderma vs Glomus.. I can argue that trichoderma does not take over but merely keeps in the glomus in balance. Plus I think most of us are aware of the benefits of trichoderma harzianum. One thing I will suggest is companion planting with beneficial fungi. There is a product called " the three amigos" on his site. Three varieties of fruiting mushrooms that work awesome in the garden. Inoculate your soils with them. Shaggy mane in your compost pile and garden oyster and garden giant in your beds. You wont be disappointed. Ive made a compost tea with the oyster spawn broken up into it and bubbled for 36 hours and used full strength. beds without the mushroom spawn yielded about 30% less and ripened earlier than beds with the fungi... IMO early senescence isnt a good thing.

FE...one more trick for starting seeds/cloning. Put a layer of paramagnetic rock under your tray. The energy field that is created helps them start.

I will admit I have not tried it yet but I am planning to. Far as I can see it is zero risk. And I have plenty of basalt.

I am really looking forward to starting a season with dialed soil and the AEA lineup from the start. I have never had a problem with seed starts, but I am interested in how big of a difference it makes to apply these products. Thanks for the advise on what to purchase, now just waiting on next season.....

Anybody using the Rejuvenate + calcium? Instead of just the Rejuvenate product on it's own?

Don't loose sight of the whole and just slop on more of everything. In a perfect soil we should need to add nothing. That should be our goal with these products merely filling the gaps while we get there.

Precisely why I keep nearly the whole lineup on hand at all times. Also why I originally bought it when you could still buy quarts. So I could patch in whatever the plants needed if I had a deficiency. If you wait til you need it to order it's no good. Sap analysis says it'll show a week before you'll see it in the plant you can detect it in the sap. Got to be on top of things...
