interesting. i just picked up some to experiment with. gonna give half my plants this and the other half everything but terpinator. currently running house and garden's full line except the shoooting powder, i use big bud powder instead. find it to ad more than just weight. so il be giving the terpinator w/ the big bud powder... if the claims are true ill have more weight with more potent buds along with better smells and tastes from the half being treated with the terpinator. i heard it was made by the same guy who made uncle johns blend (cutting edge) and is essentially the same thing, with a few differences. i like UJB so it should be alright. i dont think it will do any harm. i think it will work great with bud xl. its not supposed to affect your ppms or ph. potasium sulfate... it could be organically derived but i doubt it. that said they do claim its organic... its so cheap i figured id give it a go.

A friend that makes full melt hash tells me when he used terpinator the heads don't melt properly.

can you be more specific. was it not full melt? or was their something wierd about it besides it not being full melt when that strain usually produces full melt... what strain was he working with?

Final check in for this additive.

I've got compliments on the latest batch. Flavors are better, I think its going to be as good as its going to get for hydro. Overall they have been saying the citrus notes are better in this run of C99.

Really, there are alot of variables I've changed in this grow, so to be honest I cant say if it was terpinator totally responsible, all I can say is that it was used in my formula. And the results have been positive as far as flavor and potency are concerned.

I'm going to use it up in this soil grow I got going so we will see if it can make things better.

I don't know what kinda dope sum of ya are smokin.. I personally think this is the greatest product to hit the industry in bottle form in the 13yrs I've been growing... Seen a dramatic increase in potency, flavors and odor.. Side by sides with analytical testing proved it enough for me to purchase the 55gallon drum :)

I can see how it could be a decent product unless you're growing OGs. In my limited experience it was one of the worst products I've ever used for OGs & Chems. Everything looked great but the flavor was so drastically altered it was ridiculous. Super sweet and floral without any of the nuances OGs are known for. The purples I had turned out better but IMO the flavors still weren't what I consider normal.

This stuff is garbage, I picked up a gallon and gave it a shot, out of all the terpine and resin boosting products I've tried Terpinator was the worst, like ECtraveler commented the only difference in smell or flavor l notived was a artificial sweet taste/smell from the Terpinator, the flowers smelled similar to the smell of the Terpinator. The best as well as easiest and cheapest terpine booster to use was Bud Factor X used as a foliar feed, a couple foliar feeds the last third of flowering is all u need. It will give u a burst of a actual terpines and oils, not just a sugary sweetener like Terpinator is.

How many hours before 'lights on' are you spraying your plants at?

Sounds like you'd be asking for bud mold... but I wouldn't know from experience since I haven't sprayed past week 4

I spray a couple hours before lights on. I use a sprayer that will spray upward and mostly hit the under sides of the leaves and stems then a light mist over the tops of flowers, definitely be careful the last couple weeks and dont saturate flowers with the stuff just a light misting. It can be used in the reservoir also but its expensive stuff and I've got the same results with just a few foliar feedings. Also dont use it to early in flower or it will make the plants stop swelling and put all there energy into oil production. Advanced European Advancedepedia page has a lot of good info on the product and directions for foliar feeding. http://www.an-europe.com/advancepedia/organic-nutrients-and-supplements/bud-factor-x.html

I have had great results with it, def. noticed a difference with the resin production. I tested it on a sweet flavored strain, so it's hard to say how it may or may not have changed the flavor profile. I really need to do a side by side with a non sweet strain at the exact same time though to tell. I have also used BudCandy in the past and had great results, so much resin a buddy thought I had switched strains ;)

I dont know where people are getting the "sweet" profile from terpinator. If you taste it, directly it doesn't have a sweet flavor at all. Could terpinator be enhancing the sweet profile?

My chemdog does not have a sweet profile to it, a little bit of lemon but mostly fuel and skunk. It was treated with terpinator.

This is not really evidence, but its an interesting watch.

I have to vouch for Terpinator, been playing around with it for 6 months. At first when using at 10-15ml per gallon I saw no results it wasnt until I started using 30ml per gallon in the 30-45 day range that the effects started to really show, It didn't change the odor profile in any of my strains but it did make them smell louder and I mean extra filter loud. I dont follow the label directions I begin using at 10ml starting around 21 days then 15 ml 25-30 days and then 30ml up to flush.

From what I have seen the Terpinator has different effects for every grower. It helps some with resin others with taste with me the overall smell/odor has cranked up a few notches and I just when I thought it couldnt smell any stronger and most nute companies are bogus and new products are snake oil, Terpinator won me over.

I agree, it doesn't change the natural profile, it give it loudness like you said..

I had a bag of Terpinator treated chemdog on me, and it just stunk so bad. The waitress kept saying as she passed us.. somebody smells really good!..

The guy at my grow shop is running a side by side with tomatos, and I gotta say that the terpinator side appears to have a much richer coating of glands, and they glands appear larger as well. The smell was more pronounced on the terpinator side as well. I was impressed, I gotta say. I'm trying it out on this run, along with Ionic's Bloom and PK Boost. I'm at day 39 and they look fantastic...but they pretty much always do. I may try a side by side next run.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you work for a large hydro store in the Bay Area that has a stockpile of this right in front of their registers....? And that said store heavily pushes Cutting Edge Solutions?

I have a side by side going with this and Liquid Karma. The table with Terpinator is def. nicer. The one without is larger. Go figure.

I didn't make that clear, I have started using Liquid Karma and Terpinator. So I have 1 table with Liquid Karma and Terpinator, 1 table with Liquid Karma alone and 1 with Terpinator alone. I have used Terpinator for the last 6 months (just started messing with the Liquid Karma). I have noticed that when I use H&G Shooting Powder my crystal content decreases a tad, the Terpinator def. fixes that. I have had some friend say the Terpinator herb has less flavor, but that could be a number of factors.
