Keep pulling them back! You could set up a 1 or 2 hour flip flop with 2 timers until things cooled down..?

it doesnt get that hot though, yet. Weather on these parts has been DANK....no pun intended

let me snap a couple two or three

ill post'em up a minute.....thanks man, I think it is for sure heat related.

Here we go.

Let me start off by saying, sorry if I rant...I just popped a mans prescribed adderall and smoked a nice bowl of some 6 month cured organic grown jack flash...im feelin real nice

anywho.....back on track here.

my dilemma is the leafs on my baby dolls are still yellowing up...but the flowers appear to be forming real nicely at the same time.

Im sitting here wondering if I should be concerned....and...if I choose to be concerned (which I am), I dont even know what to do because I seem to have everything in check.

Brief synopses of current affairs:
Media: 6 site rdwc hydro
Nutrients: GH flora series two part - micro/bloom 1:1 ratio w/beastie bloomz and magical
PPM/EC:510ppm @ .5 scale (june 20, now currently at 489ppm two days later (23 june))
pH: 5.7
Ambient temp: 78 F
H20 temp: 68.8 F
o2: 1950 GPH
total water volume: 28 gallons
lighting: 1200w HPS (2 x 600w)

everything was flushed real well two days ago

The flowers are forming nicely but I am afraid I will plateau real fast here with this leaf situation. You can see what I am talking about pretty well in this one:

What ratio are you adding the Beastie blooms and magical? How many more weeks do you expect them to go?

If youve got 3+ weeks left i would definitely try to keep them from fading too quickly! The plants to me look slightly low in N, possibly underfed a tad. I might try just going with 1:1.5 or 1:2 ratio of micro:bloom @ 1.0-1.2 EC without the Beastie or magical and see how things progress.

Edit: Then again I've never run water culture. I'm just making recommendations based on Lucas formula and my experience with coco.

Hopefully somebody else with more specific experience can chime in.

Basically I have about 30 gallons of water. I added 2.5 tbls of beastie blooms and 1 tblsp of magical but I took your advice and flushed everything again and just went with a 1:2 ratio of lucas form.

So far so good..Thanks man.

I haven't read the entire thread so forgive me if I'm repeating something. But who says you can't do stacked RDWC? The pump could pull from the bottom pots and you'd just have an overflow pipe on top that dumped back down to the bottom to complete the loop.

Your completely right and I was thinking the same thing.

Any threads around doing it i can check out?

I have to get my next batch going so I started the flush today. Gonna let them go for another 5-7 days depending.

There is a lot of bud in there. I still am unsure what caused the weird pigmentation on the fan leafs. Im leaning towards a combination of radiant heat and running the beastie bloomz a little to hot. The plants really packed on weight when I flushed and ran only 1 tblsp of cha-ching and a 2:1 lucas ratio

All in all though the yield should be pretty nice.

Are you sure there are no pests around? Not saying your diagnosis is incorrect just thinking those leaves are looking pretty nasty and during times of high heat Im always wary of spider mites. Looks like yeild wast effected much though!

I have been inspecting regularly. I had thrips early on but killed them off. Fairly positive no spider mites, no webs or anything.

Still fighting thrips though. Little bastards have become immune to Monterey garden spray.

SM90 was suggested to me recently by multiple people, not for thrips, but as a general insect repellent. In the end, I decided to go with some SM90, Pure Neem oil, as well as lavender, rosemary, thyme, clove, and eucalyptus essential oils.

do you have the one with spinosad? "monterey garden insect spray"?

Yeah I sure do. It worked well out the gate but no kidding they have became immune to it. I am spraying every two days which is keeping them back but for sure not killing them off.

I need something nuclear, done being nice. Any suggestions? I dont care if plants get harmed, I need to focus on the future here.

What bug bombs work? I need to treat the entire basement.

Pyrethrum foggers work as a knockback but generally do no completely eradicate them. Dr. Doom is one brand and there are a few others out there. You may or may not want one that contains Piperonyl Butoxide.

Azamax/Azadirachtin should help control them as well.

Are you in flower?
