Didn't have the $ for it this round. We're adding a couple more pieces including the reducer in the next retrofit

I pressure tested and vacuum tested a lil terp, and first run outside, had leak. Lost about 50 grams from 900, probably the iso-butane. Saw the use of pushing fans, and room may have had open sliding glass doors.

Not being a bitch at all. We all need to keep safety our #1 priority. What you can't see is that I was standing in front of the 15' tall, 8' wide rollup door (which is wide open during an extraction). While not "outdoors" we were not in an enclosed space at all.

my very good friend was blowing bho on his back porch. yesterday . when a family member came walking out with a cig and lit up.. and a explosion led to both of them being covered in burns.. and 1 of them is in critical condition and it isnt looking good.. so .. if anything. please tell EVERYONE IN THE AREA TO LEAVE U ALONE LOL.. and that you will tell them when its SAFE to be around. or maybe just leave you alone until your ready to come inside with it after the initial purge.

You have to be very careful when dealing with explosive gases. We always inform our "neighbors" in the business park any time we're doing a hydrocarbon extraction, even though we are closed loop. In the case of a leak, I would hate to have one of their smoking a cig in the parking lot

Not hard to figure out the definition of freedom. People smoking cigs does not cause me harm so why should I give two shits what people do to themselves.
I think I've heard some bad shit about second hand smoke......people go overboard with freedoms....I mean sure one is free to climb the clock tower....they are free to enjoy the view,jump,or start shooting...doesn't mean they should all be done....i say if you really want to kill yourself put down the CIG and pick up a Sig....faster...with less second hand smoke.....and you wouldn't be fattining pockets already fat off death.....to compare the two plants is like comparing Buddhists with the religious folks we are warring with.....anyway...diy closed loop bho..... got me thinking....
Tell that to the 5 year old in school that has asthma, because his mother and father smoked around him from the day of his birth. Tell that to the wife who gets cancer because her husband smoked 3 packs a day.........a quick google search will provide all the evidence I speak of. "Freedom" always has a price.....and usually the most innocent of people pay it..........

I've literally grabbed peoples hands more than once blasting outdoors, after they pulled out a smoke and start to light it. Those were people that knew what we were doing and that it was a no/no, but were on auto pilot.
I've detailed how to minimize your risk open blasting in the sticky section of the concentrates forum, but there were several things wrong above.
Blasting in an enclosed area, where the butane could accumulate.
Not having sufficient fans to keep it from accumulating at above ignition threshold of about 1.4%.
Only then did the mindless ignition source arrive.
If we had been there and taken notes, ignoring the above suggests other points may have also been ignored, and open blasting is a game that you cannot afford to ignore the rules when playing. You don't just lose a pile of chips..........
