How about we all meet up at the Horrors gig. .....

Whaaaaaa!

I' m in on the 24th so we need an IC spot for wake n bake.

Anyone got anything they want to do/see ?

We can make are own fun.

I've penciled in a tour of AFC Ajax stadium (Amsterdam ArenA). So if there's any football fans out there interested in coming along, your more than welcome.

where is a good place for the wake and bake? should we make it the same as always? or maybe switch things around? i am guessing it will be crowded in all the good wake and bake locations. the GH on haarlemer straat does have good food.

@ gauis, what i thought, but people without a pass are going to struggle to get in, when its busy it's passes only.
Maybe GH, wake n Bake? also we need a central meet up place for evenings, 6pm on. Greenplace? Prix d'ami ? Dampkring?

@Jamie, Yeah i just checked out his new stuff, not bad.
(whole different ball game to rebelulation and horrors...)
to my ear's anyway.

Tickets? Just walk in to the Melkyweg and pay at the desk.I paid 20e, on the door a couple of years ago.

@Toppin, No football tours for me but i'm sure you'll find some football heads over there.

has there ever been an official ICMAG trip to amsterdam before with out a cup on ?

you mean like years where it was canceled? we have had unofficial meet ups for 420 in years where no cup was organized. but mostly people hook up for 1 event or another, there are so many to choose from after all.

I'm torn Gauis, on the one hand i don't want to miss out and on the other i know exactly what will be in the expo and only Deltron 3030
is worth seeing (for my taste) So i could just pay on the door at Melkyweg for say 20-30 e and a day at the expo for the same.
In the past i would of said go for it but this year High Times have not been on the ball at all.

Got a couple of days to decide before the offer is up..

So just decided to go for it and got 2 passes bought for GA and myself. Looking forward to hook up with everyone! Possibly Greenplace?? It has a decent back bit depending on how many of us there is :)

yeah i'm thinking of getting it too, before it goes up. i want to be able to hang out in gh etc if i want to.

where will the expo be located? last time i went it was far away, but you had a bus shuttle service to take you there and back. that bus was one hell of a smoke out.

@Gauis, rode a few almost whitey's on that bus..
Woohoo!
Last year Tony V smoked me up with 6,7 different types of ice hash, bho, patches and all sorts..on the bus, you never know who you will meet.

Damit, now i'm going to need a pass...an a lottery win.

)

Also, they haven't said they have a venue yet.
You think it will be Roest again?

no idea man, depending on their site for info too, so no idea where the expo will be. i do want to visit certain booths for a smokeout otherwise we will hardly get to see peeps like Karma, Horti, ojd and on and on, they will all be stuck at their booths during the day i'm guessing.

i did quite like that coffee shop we had a wake and bake at last 420, i forgot the name right now, but it was true's suggestion and it's not right in the center so we might actually have room? of course the prix d ami would always be big enough to fit us too. we just need to decide, the prix is superbly located thats for sure and if we are enough peeps we can fill up one of those booths with just ic crew.

What Cup

What Cup

Since being pushed out of High Times magazine ,Steven Hagar who is the heart and soul behind the Cup has sadly seen all that he had worked for over the past twenty six or so years go down the tube with the new crew at HT magazine. Even Barneys Farm has given up on the cup for the last couple of years. It has turned into a ghetto rap concert for a bunch of people who forget that there is more to music than that format. What happened to a decent rock music format along with some GREAT REGGAE just for a change??

good point, not really into rap unless it's specially good. wouldn't mind some reggae myself, but in the end i'm going for the people more then anything else. the people and the Amsterdam vibe. you always end up meeting really cool people at these type of events and of course get to see a bunch of old friends.

It was good to meet you at 420 in April. I'll be back for the HTCC in Nov.

I agree this is a very good shop.
