New run! Recirculating Drip & DWC

So back to basics, bio buckets went wrong with the cyanobacteria aka slime and we decided to go back to DWC and give Drip 0.5m2 space to have fun!

We recicled the psicodelicia 3 (psicodelicia sweet seeds) and did some hardcore pruning on the roots to avoid transporting the slime to the new and sterile DWC.

We are using a home made two part formula, A 5-0-6 and B 1-5-4.

5 gal bucket
Hydrocorn XL (Gold Label)
4x4 RW cube


Few new roots, psico is looking better by the day!

Now to the drip part, DIY recirculating drip

80x40cm table (small)
500lts/h pump
20lt reservoir
300ppm
10ml A 3 ml B

Genetics White Rhino & LSD
both from seed in 1.5x1.5 plug into 4x4 RW cubes

White Rhino is 10 days old
LSD is 2 days old
(the difference in time comes due to some bads seeds in between...lost a week time)

No feedings being done so far, waiting 1-2 more days before stopping the hand feed.

LSD 13 days / White Rhino 20 days


Unfortunately, the white rhino is sick, dunno how.. eating the same as the LSD, sits right next to each other under the same light...

any hints? Only thing that happen recently was a hell of a storm around here and my room hit 15°C at night for a couple of days, unless this strain is very sensitive to the colds I can't tell what's wrong..

I choped all the roots before starting the DWC, and I mean all of them up to the rockwool! That's why there's so few roots showing

here's a pic of previous roots just so you see monster roots is not a problem (this is from 2013)

So back from the dead! Took some time out for work reasons, back to report!

I moved the veg from the 5x5ft tent to the 2x2ft tent, build up a simple E&F system, 24lts reservoir. The tray is 60x40cm, so its fits perfect, leaves some space to check the rez easy too.

They already did! Psico clones doubled size, and botafumeiro's tripled!

Botafumeiro barely smells unless you touch the buds, I like that because its what I call an invisible strain! No one knows you are growing it, even without carbon filters!

Kandy kush are really nice, they do smell sweet, not as much as candy but strong enough!

Psico as always smells awesome!

Won't be long till I have to set up the carbon filter, my grow is 2ft away from a window that's right into the street..
