This didn't go like I intended. I have much respect for Stoner4life and I don't feel good about these posts now. I didn't intend to ruin this thread.

PEACE and PLAY BALL!

I hear ya cowboy...I am not happy with the team right now either BUT as a true fan I'm not going to second guess the Giants management, I'm sure they are going thru some shit trying to get the team to be better, hindsight is 20/20 and easy for us to sideline coach. Sure the team is struggling but that's not unusual, hopefully they can rally in the last month or so but injuries are part of the game, lots of good players out right now, mccutchen, tulo a few others...

Krupp and kuip are not there to dog on the upper management they are there to call the game and tell us great stories....that's for the sports writers and fans to do hehehe

The Giants are having a tough time and it only takes a small spark to change it!! I guess I'm just an optimist..... *shrug*

GO GIANTS!!

Well Mrs B, your G-faith and G-patience is being rewarded. A gamer-babe's intuition should not be taken lightly I reckon... LOL

Me, I'm feeling a little regret after watching the G-fellas put together 5 strait wins with some unbelievable offense AND defense. No, no regret over temporarily losin my G-faith, I regret ordering 2 of the advertised Candlestick seats, one signed by Bruce Bochy, the other by Giants management- just so i could wail the tar out of both of em with my Willie Mays autographed baseball bat. And wail on em I did. At the time, it seemed like the best $800.00 I ever spent...

I should have known - It's baseball. I thought I heard the fat lady singin but it was just Roseanne Barr singing the National Anthem.

The seats? When visitors ask why theyre so beat up, like any good baseball fan in denial, I tell them I salvaged em from the World Series Earthquake game...Hey, winning cures everything right? LOL

Now lets go rejuvenated G-men, lets finish this thing...! cc

Getting down to the wire, post season is almost here!!
Scary hit for Stanton in the face....I bet the pitcher felt so bad.
I laughed at the gesture Papelbon made the other day!! And the ump grabbing his shirt, classic lol

We went 13 with the brewers tonight for a big win. Took 2 out of 3 this series. 2.5 games up with 9 left. Holding my breath! :puppydoge

Another big win for the Cards tonight, but the Pirates won too. The magic number is at 7. Go Cards!

Commissioner Bud Selig gave St. Louis and the Cardinals a very nice compliment today - "There is no doubt in my mind that St. Louis is the best baseball town in America, and the Cardinals are the model franchise." :tiphat:

Now if we can just manage to beat the cubs tonight

Giants and Dodgers...3 game series....God damn giants better win!! ⚾️

LOL Steady girl, steady...it'll all be over soon, one way or ta other...I'm chasin the Giants all around, tryin to stick a fork in em and they just refuse to die. Maybe they know something I dont? Last nite's extra innings win was great, but I thought the best play of the game was Peavy plunkin the Puiggy. Is that just wrong?? Go Gian...Oh whatever! cc

Good pitching match up. Tough to call. Flip a coin.
From ESPN:
Giants

"Since the start of the 2012 season, Bumgarner is 7-2 with a 1.61 ERA against the Dodgers. He allowed three hits and struck out nine over seven innings of a 9-0 home victory Sept. 12.

The left-hander is 5-0 while San Francisco has won his last six starts overall, and is 6-1 with a 1.80 ERA in his last nine outings. He followed this month's gem versus Los Angeles by giving up two runs in six innings while not factoring in the decision of a 4-2 victory at Arizona on Wednesday."

Dodgers:
"Greinke (15-8, 2.76), meanwhile, has a 1.38 ERA while winning each of his four starts against the Giants in 2014. He allowed no runs and four hits in a second straight start at AT&T Park while lasting six innings of a 17-0 rout Sept. 13 to improve to 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA in six career outings versus San Francisco.

The right-hander, who is 2-0 with a 2.37 ERA in three starts versus San Francisco at Dodger Stadium.

So each pitcher has dominated the other team. Something's got to give. Can't decide who I like.

However, for the 7th time this year, I bet on and lost a game pitched by Felix Hernandez. I am 0 & 7 with Felix pitching. The odds of doing that are astronomical.

It seems that people just naturally close their eyes when a baseball approaches. What ever happened to "keep your eye on the ball"? That guy with the Mariner's cap on the right is in fear for his life. You would think a grenade was coming his way.
