5g's Red F3 pheno 1 smells like fermenting honeydew.

5g's Red F3 pheno 2 is way denser, less fragrant, aroma is very tropical fruit forward with a hint of fuelly funk on the end.

5g's Red F2 definitely with more variation than the F3.

Both the 5g's Yellow F2 and F3 are both pretty uniform. Very lemony, nicely balanced between acrid lemon zest and sweet lemon candy with a twang of sour fuel.

Gage Green's Freedom Baby pheno 1 with a ~1:1 CBD:THC ratio and pheno 2 with a ~2:1 ratio.

Loud Seed's 7/8th Sour; way denser than my ECSD, very similar aroma but with a slight spicy note.

Loud scout is crazy dense, pretty frosty, got that doughy cookie smell. Pretty sure its a platinum cookies cross; its stacking much more than forum (my only first hand point of reference).

OGC4 x 5g is a monster. Flowers are less mature than most the others in the garden. Other more indica leaning pheno is way smaller, denser flowers that are much more mature. Hard to describe either pheno's the aroma aside from a nice meld of fuel and fermenting fruit.

I really liked the 5gred which is more c99 dom. The plant I had but lost this year was very easy to grow, put out 3 lbs without trying, and the end quality was quite nice. Not the best finished product out there but the ease of growing the plant is a 9of10.

The first day of Autumn, final stretch.

damn BYF all your issues with EGS is giving me cold feet about going auto dep lol....makes me want to just buy cold frames and pull tarp like fisher did!

in the stretch right now for sure...alot of my ladies are looking early this year. already took down the Grape Stompers, 101 North, and some of the Bubba OGs. things got caked up real quick even with all the soil issues.

Wow yes4 Multiple strains done by sep.23, I'm jealous. I have a few I could cut on for sure but they are still rocking out. Even with some rain coming I will prob. Still give those plants a few weeks. Anyone else cutting?

What are peoples thoughts on chopping with clear trichs? Is the change to cloudy not the oxidation and degredation of oils? I'm getting close.

Every issues got sorted out and theres better people to go through. I went with EGS because fisher and a few other people I know went with them. None of them have the set up I do and I think that's the difference in experience.

I got it all sorted though and curtains will be moving soon on their own ...

It appears to me you do not have senescense at all. I would not worry til I see amber which I think is the onset of oxidation.

K back to ghe big plant thread. @ cep- certain strains I like to take a little early with clear and a few cloudy trics. That's a personal preference thing on the effect. I like to let most strains fully peak out.

looking good ceps! I am also curious to know about what is happening when trichs go cloudy and amber. I know theres a lot of opinions on when to harvest

In the 2nd pic, the Chemical Blue was 3/4's harvested earlier in the day, so the stalks and popcorn buds are sticking up in front of the Glue.

Yeah I was surprised by the girls I cut early. I think they were well early and could have gone much longer, but everything I saw on the plant itself was cloudy, and I spotted one amber. I've been pondering if a premature harvest could have contributed to the tachycardia I suffered from the finger hash this week.

The 101 north dos a bit better when you let it go to the first but you could chop it now easily.

Gonna pop lots of 101 x chemdog bc3

Prop did you sprout those seeds I gave you at HTCC ? They're dawg waltz x Chemdog bc3

Absolutely! Clear trichs will do that to ya. I dont like that. I dont like it too narcotic either.
Mostly cloudy with a few clear is where I like to take mine.
This year I didnt have a choice with the Chemical Blue and had to cut a week and a half early at week 7 1/2 of 9.
Havent checked the trichs yet but I will tomorrow. Its been a busy day harvesting and trimming.

That's the thing - I'm pretty sure I was seeing mostly cloudy. I may have just seen the cloudy stuff in my scoping though. It would be nice to think that's the cause and not that I can't smoke any more.

Sounds like the C99 smell is in all of ganja rebels stuff with that fermenting fruit description on everything....Not really sure I'd expect anything different as that dude took RezFraud and crossed it with DutchFrown ...

Plants look cool though, great job growing them.

The 5g's red line sure sure has a significant c99 influence, especially the F3.

I would not say I see a ton of the c99 in the 5g's yellow aside from influence on flowering time and plant stature; aroma does not remind me of c99.

None of the GRS fuel crosses (various sd, chem, og bxs and ixs) which I am regretting; way denser and more vigor and in some cases earlier than the SD or OG cuts i'm running this year. I'm still not sure what to expect from the various F1 hybrids with the 5g male; that 5g male seems to pass along a strong fruity aroma, lots of resin and vigor; seems like there are some phenos retaining fuelly funk too. The majority of those F1 hybrids have been quite large.

I'm down the the GRS gear. I will definitely rock it again.

In regards to the Rez and DG origins, I feel like D chose some killer phenos of nice crosses to work with and IMHO has made a solid contribution to Norcal cannabis germplasm. Not sure how many generations it takes to take ownage of the lineage... that's an ideological question I suppose... I subscribe to an open source philosophy.

I would say IMHO but I know I speak for a lot of people when I say his fuelly crosses can hang with anyone's. I see uniqueness in the 5g's yellow and the red can hang with any c99 leaning crosses I've worked with.

Not trying to dick ride or talk shit.

That Dawg Waltz x Chem bc3 sounds dank. Which Chem gave rise to the bc3?

Y4P, how did those Grape Stompers turn out? How was the vigor?
