I was taught you have to make meatballs for a lasagna, no short cuts .Then you must break up the meatballs with your hands no fork because it will give it a diffrent texture

Soo with three pounds of chopped meat i knew i had to make a sauce just for the meatballs .This was made with canned puree an my usual recipe

Next i made Fresh pasta an let it rest while i prepared whatever else i needed

Than i made a fresh sauce with Fresh San marzano tomatoes from the garden for layering the Lasagna .With Fresh basil an parsley from the garden

Last pic I used my slicing machine for the Fresh mozzarella soo i would have many slices to spread out

Beautiful work BH!! I make a great Lasagna if I may say so myself, but I've never come close to that level of detail. I bet that was beyond delicious!!

Clams are nice too.
There´s an old preparation with oysters " Rockefeller Oysters", classic kitchen from the early XX century.

You open the Oyster and you keep the meat aside.
You take a Shell, some blanched baby spinach on the bottom, the meat over it, you cover all with Hollandaise sauce and grilled.
Rockefeller used to love them lol.
It was quite normal to name dishes with celebritie´s names those days:
Rockefeller Oysters, Tournedó Rossini, Ana Pavlova omelette and so on.
Around 100 years later we have Jack Herer, Arjan´s haze, Jorge´s Diamond, Ed Roshental Super Bud,Marley´s Collie,Dr. Grinspoon, Neville´s Haze....... and then there is Moham Ram the strain in homage of Moham Ram from Sweet Seeds; nice homage, they use their name without even asking him.....
