Those girls are filling up nicely bro! Way to grow.

How do you go abouts harvesting as many lbs as you have there... drying outdoors? Or do you have a system for transporting to the drying location?

I just bought some trashcans tonight for my harvest, this year I'm gonna haul em in and out of my patches on my back I think. Last year I did straight up garbage bags (4 layers) but it still stunk to high heavens. I'm gonna duct tape the tops of the cans closed to give me a good 2 hours til odor permeates out through the plastic...

Also - was that you I saw in Buddymate's thread talking about low fly overs? I hope not... if so though, would an early harvest be in the cards? That's a tough call brother. Either way, you got this.

The heli wasnt looking for crops I dont think. Everything was still there the next day, so thats a good thing. Will see today when I go back to do more work.....

by next weekend Ill know for sure if we are safe and if were harvesting the Blues early, to open up the patch abit to allow good airflow into the center. That 1 Blue is getting rot on small buds so we may take it early. Ive cut out about an ounce worth of buds that had rot just starting on the top of the bud.

Im just gonna de-fan the plants, cut the branches to fit into a large plastic tub with a top, and transport that way. I never put into plastic bags cuz the wieght will squish the flowers flat, and stick to the inside of the bag, loosing tons of trichs' and damaging a ton as well. I loosly place them into the tub and take it back 1 lb at a time. Tops first, then middles, then we leave the bottoms to finish up for another week. If it gets too-too cold, then well take the small buds.

"Cut abunch of little buds with budrot, off 1 Chem Blue thats getting it.
The other 2 arent getting it too bad at all. Must be an unhealthy plant for whatever reason and isnt fighting it off as good as the others."

OGW

Are your Chem Blue plants from seed or clone?

If from seed,,, could be that Pheno?

edit:
Here's Hoping the chopper was just 'tourists'!

Don't worry too much about the cold. Saw plants up here at 7k' plus, get frosted 4-5 times.... and still thawed out and continued on. Don't know if that's standard or not but a fellow up here did it.

Im taking the 2 Chem Blues that are getting the rot early. Went today and cut off about a 1/2 zipper worth, when it would be dry and trimmed. So I figure a 1/2 oz a day x 7 days is too much when the colas look pretty done. Its been 7 weeks flowering on an 8 week plant, outside....ya, I think its about ripe and ready for the pickins'.

Ill be renting a car and taking all batteries out of phones. The whole song and dance.
Next weekend should be a fun weekend!
Happy Harvesting!

This is why Im taking the 2 early ~

That's a good sign then man, they'd be long gone by now if they spotted them from above I bet. Girls are chunkin out nicely, I like your harvesting method too... simple and clean.

You my friend are rocking it!! You inspired me to look up some old guerilla pics from back before we could blow up the back yard and man my plants were small compared to yours... once again good work!

From clone. I think it was just those 2 plants.
The 3rd Chemical Blue clone, from the same phenotype, is still going strong with no rot that I can visibly see yet.
Im going out tonight with a ladder to check the tops more thoroughly on all plants.
Couple more weeks! :woohoo:

Thanx Mendo-local! I think we went abit too big. Guerilla is supposed to be hidden well and although these are in a great spot,
they are monsters and stick out from the air, Im sure.
Season isnt over until all the plants are harvested and safely on the drying racks, so heres hopefull wishing for a bumper harvest.

It doesnt really matter to me how big they are, but rather how good they are. I want quality that you can smell, taste, and feel.
Otherwise, I got huge plants of garbage.
I had to harvest the Chem Blues before they could harden off. Kinda sucked but hey, you win some you loose some.
They do smell very good. Like that Boo-Berry cereal. My friend said it smelled like fresh mangos. Either way its really fruity and toxically sweet. Just wish I could have given it another 2 weeks.
