Dat canopy doe, very very nice! Such a nice green bed. How much do the vegglings stretch once they get into flower?

Posting number 102 page 7 this thread... reference plywood in back of frame its day 1 vs. The pic I just posted at day 31. If your gonna post, catch up and keep up, its right there. Dang I would be a real jerk if I meant that.... lol im just ribbing you. Typical finish, up to twice as big when finishing from point where veg stopped.... so day 1 plant 12-14" tall finishes 24-28" tall. Thank u again for the positive comment, and following, i just get a lil facetious. Oppps not good karma. I will smoke some goodwill kief and hope that you have a glorious Sunday, I'm watching NFL cooking and rolling around the yard

I just saw the reference post, wow such a difference! Incredible growing nature for this plant, one reason why I love it so much. And its my pleasure following, I'm taking notes in hopes to get some sort of symmetry for my ladies. NFL Sundays are always fun working at a Bar/Pub. All I hear is people screaming out front!

Day 32 just feed them today, one of the reasons I thought the site count would work is because of the wave of growth I noticed with zero nutrient media. Yes the plants stretch but after about the 4th week going into the fifth is that the plants footprint shrinks as the energy goes away from vegetation foilage to straight flower/resin production. In this case the rooms footprint has shrunk by approximately 5 sq ft. See second pic. Its like when neo invelops agent smith... the room pushes out real big and then shrinks down like the effect of stretching a mirror and then releasing it. I'm glad I have the extra room because it allows me to know go into the room and close the door behind me and it gets all the sites up under them bright gas bulbs.
Tempted to throw some plants in that corner for perpetual but why complicate things.

Did I miss something? Do clones get faster in time? I'm beginning to see some white pistils turn orange not a lot but a few don't ever remember seeing that soon the sugar is established too, the dark star was moderate sugar until the end when it got super sugar density fields where the sage seems to build at a normal rate without the turbo boost in crystal production. Starting to get good odor too, are these things going to finish faster than 60??

Hello fonzee! Honored... less to respond a lil late but things have been busy. Today is day 36 flower round 8 and the proposed start day for round 9, choosing to wait 5 or so more days to see a little more hardier plant. A couple more nodes could be a significant % easily with this strain. Its not a matter of height just a matter of mature enough plant. The room just needs a good bleaching and its ready. I also must say due to the high % of cuts taking vs . Loss and just trashing 8 donors for space..... I have decided instead of trashing the surplus clones that I would use their headstart time to do 3 gals. With the # of surplus clones and extra time that a fat sog can be done with bigger sites.

Thanks fonzee! Found it there in that link. I'm gonna subscribe.

I apologize for not posting sooner as I took one on the chin pretty hard this week. Contemplation on both abandoning this journal and growing, but after a big plate of humble pie I'm happy to say im gonna keep going.
Seems that the day after a feed on Monday this week I went to the room on daily inspection and found one plant site all balled up full of sacks pushing thru the withered and recessed pistil female flower formation. I was so disgusted that I cut everything down in veg and new flower round 9, but not the ones in full flower. It seems that the portable ac in the second flower room took to failure on day 2 of flower. The room went up to 95 degrees and the original flower room felt the heat too.... reaching 83 degrees before I could get it cooled down again. I know not that hot but it was the biggest plant in the room and it was on the corner of a reflector and I think that lil bit of extra heat made harry hermie come out. I removed the plant site immediately but there's so much circulation in the room I'm sure the damage is done. Not one other site had done this from this round. Now I have a huge field of possible other reasons that may have played part..... small root zone, stressed donor, revegged from full flower donor, and a plant that might of gotten to close to the light. I took a pic of it but deleted it because of anxiety and anger.
Well you can see my mom room and what was flower round 9 cut down to nothing. I certainly don't blame th seeds as I said there were many things wrong here, as a matter of fact I'm ordering their mk ultra in the morning. In the mean time we are day 44 of 60 of the last sage sour run..... for now. The strain it wreaks, I have 2 carbon scrubbers in the crawl space fighting the portable ac compressor motor pulling and ejecting raw diesel haze odor in the attic. Its very sticky and like I said very very pungent, great strain. So in the interim while await new genetics and the time to get them vegged up I have elected to start a number of local cross c9d (cindy99 x diesel). Heavier yielder than the sage, just as sticky, and tastey but it does have the tendency to herm too. I'm not waiting thou, because I'm not dropping huge coin on beans or for the reqd veg time to fill a room with just a few sites..... if ya know what I mean. So needless to say I have enough c9d beans to do what I want until I have a number of mk ultras mommed out. Yes I may have some seed runs but to be honest patients love the strain as i just about give it away vs the donation of seedless. So if you can read between the lines I'm going to keep running just for the desire to cultivate, besides last time I had the c9d I couldn't keep enough around, its donors tested at 22-23%
So I guess what I'm saying a lil seeded weed is better than no weed, besides the mk ultra will not see reveg from flower so I will baby her into what will hopefully be seedless again. Oh well shoulder shrug, I'm glaf to be alive. Take care all and happy growing.

Finding alot of old negative press on forums, back in 2007, concerning th seeds da purps but I want to see for myself, so I threw down for 10 regs and a 5 pack of FEMS of th mk ultra. Freebies include sage n sour so a chance to run it again. Also included are some sleestack skunk, critical super silver haze, afghan kush, and amnesia. Mainly concerned with moming up on the mk's.

Meanwhile amended flower round 9 sorouts.... c9d local cross..... showing its vigor with a 2 day paper towel soak.

Couldn't believe it myself, after sitting in the dark for almost week, I found the remnant of a sage sour mom holding on for dear life, if you look close you can see the end of the cut stalk in the dirt. Its a real blessing as its going to allow me a chance to keep this wonderful strain. I was able to speak with its founder Adam today. I inquired to the negative and lack of press concerning da purps. He was kind enough to bring me up to speed filling in some unknowns. I will share with you that he told me that there is a really good purple pheno that appears from time to time of both bubblegum and dark star.
In regards to a solid purple, I have wanted to grow a particular breeders strain, its the best smoke I have ever had to date, kinda dumb I would wait till now but I just couldn't see spending the funds for the beans, because I could always get twice sometimes three as many from another breeder. I'm going to wait to say the breeder and strain until I have the beans in possession, I see it not available some sites. Really excited about the mk ultra and critical ssh coming down range. I need to go up north and get a water sample from the spring to check its ppm and pH. I'm thinking of a a framed 24x24 greenhouse for starters. I like indoor growing and I know that the quality is typically better in large part to temp and light control but I would prefer to be outdoors at altitude.
Send good karma
