Funny. I know lots of street level people in MB looking for gear.

BC supply was down this summer from everything I've heard so MB'a would be as well.

Me I couldn't see dropping $500 every 2 weeks ordering $50/g shatter, and 10 different strains just for variety. It isn't sustainable...

I'm not saying there isn't a demand, just not what it was even a year ago.

Curious how outdoor in MB will be this year. Mine got chomped by critters.

I think home growin is ramping up. Anyone buying 5 grams a day from the lps must be rich, Whos got 1200 a month disposable income extra??? Loophole?? Looks like a big one to me.

ya thats what i was thinking. who the hell here in canada has that much money to spend on medicine? the cost is comparable to paying a mortgage.

Yeah this lp thing almost creates a fake market, where the profits r huge at 10 bucks a gram..... everyone is seeing money at those prices.... even the cheaper lps 5 6 bucks a gram.... thats still great profits for a home grower....

They even sell their shake for big $$$ imho for what it is..

I just know guys right now who are smoking the same amount, but paying 2x for the variety and just LOVING it...bought from dispensaries

As for who has the $$$ the same guys who have the big houses, fancy cars, and who play the "keeping up with the jones" guys.

1000 a month...to put it in perspective, I know people who drink a $30-$40 bottle of wine every night....that is almost grand in wine a month.

I still think $2k for a lb of grass is still out to lunch price wise.

Course i'm cheap and I prefer to trade my bud for other suckers who payed disp prices to get my variety.

I just go myself.... usually not impressed with dispensary but not nearly as disappointed as when I ordered from tilray. Selection is fun at first. Not when 18 of 20 strains r avg premature or full of ferts....

100g of tobacco in a pack of smokes that retails for 15bucks.... 90% of that is tax, and big tobbacco is still making good $$$$.

That leads me to believe that $2000 a lb is too much, that being said, I know some people's legal RX bill is in the thousands every month...so who knows.

Bottle of Rye costs $25 is another product we could use to compare it too...

Honestly the price has been dropping steadily even if the street price isn't....Gotta love inflation.

I wish I could buy a lb for $500, I would be happy to take a year off or 2 from growing if I could get great prices like that.

I have not been impressed with the quality at the couple of dispensaries I have tried from. A couple of very nice samples but they rely more on quantity than quality it seems. Very hit and miss. Lots of damp weed with no flavor. Maybe 4-6 real gems out of about 20-25 strains. Some of them are 10-12 bucks a gram so I would expect much better.

Otherwise, I had a buddy tell me he is getting a lb for $1300 and he says its good and thats just one at a time.

Yup those pounds r out there. Not thru my guys...... so thats the street vs 10 bucks a gram. Or even 5 or 6 bucks.

I find my dispensary to have dry buds. Tiny but dry. Some strains r pure ferts. And they gove you different batchs.... never know what your gonna get.... remember you can always say no thx and walk away....

I have had some buds that I definitely thought were tumbled. I have a friend that grabs me the odd gram here and there when he goes in so I dont see it till after its paid for. I check out a menu and if I see something I want a taste of, I let him know.

Gotta be what they do to some of the buds..... blasting.... my buddy suspected that.... shit was so dark on the outside. Almost normal in the middle. Dry as hell prob from the cold freeze with the butane...

Hard to spot unless you take a good look. Wtf is up with these guys....

Now I understand. They blast the big nugs cause the middles wont be touched too much. Little nugs r left alone. So hope you get the little nugs from the dispensary... just what ivr noticed...
