Problem is it's hard to get everyone free to do those things. That's why I golf now lol can go alone if I must.

The Niners losing was not a pretty site here.....all my buddies are big Niner fans and we all watched it and BBQd on Sunday......house cleared out pretty quick needless to say!

Just started a batch of cannabutter myself. 1.5lbs of butter to about 2.5 ounces of sugar trim.....gonna cook it in the crockpot for 8 hrs and see how it turns out

Load the trim in a 45mu paint strainer bag (available at all paint stores, home depot, lowes, etc.).

Then squeeze the living shit out of the bag once an hour to move the highly concentrated butter into the crock pot.

This system keeps all the leaf material from remaining in your budder.

You can also pour the whole thing into the 45mu bag and squeeze after full cook.

thats a bummer about the team stoney! tis how my baseball team is going right now....in the semifinals in fantasy baseball and suddenly 3 of my best players are injured. this is a pretty big payout league as well.....not stoked.

Hydrosun, thanks for the info! I ended up just throwing the plant matter in whole and then strained it threw a double layered cheesecloth then squeezed the shit outta that to get all the remaining butter. Im trying something ive never done before and thats when the butter has seperated, get out all the gross stuff, then melt it down with another cup of water and place back in the fridge. doing this one or two more times apparently improves the quality of the butter and taste. We shall see!

But honestly, I think the next time I make butter, I'm only going to leave it in the crock pot about 30 minutes...and see if I don't have a stronger end product. I've always had rather inconsistent results in regards to potency...and I think I cook it FAR too long at times.

This recipe is kinda potent though. Like 4 batches of 30 small cookies. One and ur done. Maybe smoke a little. 2 and u probably don't need to smoke for the rest of the day. 3 and u might start believing in god, Buddha, or take ur pickof holy person that u swear too that u will never do this again.

You southern guys consider yourself lucky.....look at the shit ive been dealin with the past few days. 3oclock rolls around and the wind changes and WAM!

Fire is about 50 miles outside of lake tahoe. Hundreds of homes evacuated and i couldnt even make this up.....the town of Weed literally lost almost all buildings in their city to the fire

Heres from my drive back from the Depot....theres a mountain back there usually...and its a mere 4 miles away

I've always just left the crockpot on low for 4-5 hours or so then on keep warm unil the next day, filled it up with trim/ then water/then the butter in cut up chunks..use English butter for the higher fat %. I know that my crockpot wont boil on the low setting so it's safe to assume that the temps are lower than 210...I don't know how much lower...potency is always there, they always make me a lazy comatose p.o.s. though...time and place for edibles for me...plane rides, having to spend a day around the in laws etc....brought a batch of brownies to a niner game last year around a bunch of beer drinkin ic homies, we smashed a tray between like 6 or 7 of us in the am while tailgating...NO ONE bought a beer in the stadium...lol it was too funny...saved us all a bunch of bread too lmfao

Wow sometimes its hard to tell size by pic. That looks like a whole 9"x13" baking pans worth of butter. But being only 1.25lbs, it can only be 1/8 that size.

I had a experienced friend that turned me on to smoking and tripping. He ate 3 cookies from the first batch we figured out how to make the butter correctly. He was very pissed and convinced for days that we laced it with pcp or some crazy shit. couldn't believe it was just herb. That is the power of the edible. Then I heard a story on tv of a cop and his wife experimenting with medicated brownies and the cop called 911 and told the operator that he was dieing. And that he was actually dead. Funny shit, but and eye opener to those who have never experience properly made medibles.

One thing i noticed with my crockpot is even on the low setting i get a small simmer.....not sure if thats good or not, but ive heard boiling causes loss in potency!

Smart move on the medibles at the game! The niner game i went to last year i think i spent about $80 in beers. $10 beers add up quick when you knock em over with your feet :biggrin:

MM, yeah definitely not a full 9x13 baking sheet. thats the form of the tupperware i put it in to cool. Just measure it and its about 8x6 and maybe slight over an inch thick of butter

I've had people loose their sense on a single cookie I've made - but at the same time, they were non-smokers. I ate treats from the same batch and could eat 3 and still be just fine - relaxed, for sure - but really no more than if I had just had a dab sesh...

Guess it's just a tolerance thing...but I'm always looking for edibles to cut through and be more than...
