Well so far the sulphur spot treatment seams to be working.

Here's some macros I grabbed the other day. The lense got a bit resinous though, I'll try and get some better ones up soon.

crazy purple-stremed, copper-headed trichs on the sugar leaves of the durban bubble. This is only on the sugar leaves, the trichs on the buds have niether copper, nor purple to them.

The amount of spiders that have taken up residence in these plants is pretty cool. I like to think of them as a volunteer IPM squad.

We've found a good number of these folded leaves. Initially i thought leaf rollers, but there seems to be a mama spider in each one, guarding her eggs. We left most of these alone throughout the season, though we're pulling them now so we don't get baby spiders in the buds at harvest.

Looking freaking awesome, how far do you let the trichomes goto amber? that Durban looks about done to me? I always heard u want them to be pretty cloudy that will make for a higher potency couch lock high compared to more amber will make it a more cbd kind of high? I see plenty of green leafs though so u might have another week or 2?

Thanks man. Usually I take them when there's maybe 20% amber. Those durbans bubble trichs with the crazy purple stalks and amber tops only are appearing on the sugar leaves. The trichs on the buds are still going from clear to cloudy. I didn't get a good shot of the insides, cause the lense got all resinous, but I'll try to get some better ones now its cleaned off. it's getting close now, though.
TBH, I'd never seen those purple stalked trichs before, so i couldn't resist sharing.

There are a few scientists that insist through experimentation that THC is at its highest when heads are still clear and turning opaque, it really comes down to your preference through experience with varieties at what harvest window you like. If there was a chance of crop loss to bot, I would bring them down at cloudy. It can ruin a crop in a very short time. As far as the peroxide, usually you would use 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide, at 5ml per gallon. Spot treatment does work, unfortunately it is probably present all over just not visible to the naked eye, also some times outbreaks can actually be spread by spot treatment, just depends on how careful you truly are.

Looking real pretty there. Glad to see the bot didn't get y'all. Lost 80% of a crop to it once, years ago, happened fast. One under the belt now, and one to be proud of, every year is different, but should only get better now, especially the soil in those beds!

I gotta say, it's a great to be done... well pretty much. It's all hanging and well start trimming tomorrow. To be honest, I was really worried the botrytis would hit harder. It would have too, without the keen eye of my partner and all the great information from good folks on this forum.
It was a season full of firsts: first time outdoor, light dep in the PNW... first time ditching the bottles for teas and ammended soil... first time with several new pests... and I'm real happy with how it turned out.
I definitely learned a lot too, and will do some things differently next time. If I could go back and change one thing, I'd have started cooking my soil earlier, utilizing soil tests, so we could have gotten them in beds and outa 5gals a week or two ealier.

thanks for taking the time to take all those pics and document this. I'm glad you learned something but I have to say that you cold of fooled everyone as this being your first outdoor adventure and way of growing. Should be exciting to see how things evolve for you doing this switch from the bottles to the dry amendments. Good luck to you in the future.
