GG4 and More

Hey ICMag crew, I hope everyone's outdoor season is going well! I've been struggling with some heat issues indoors, but my plants are finally back to healthy after some tweaking of my A/C and adding more fans.

I'll be flipping the 3x6 tray of GG4 in my little bloom room in 3 days, so I thought I'd share what I've got rockin!

This is the first day I received all my cuts. Gorilla Glue on the left.

Ran out of rope while setting up my SCROG... Can't make it to a store until the morning ha! Struggles.

I got almost all of my genetics from a friend here on the forums, I'm sure he will cruise by and say hello at some point. I'm not sure if this will be an on going thread or just for this run with the new genetics, but I'll list everything in the stable anyways. . .

Soil & Method

Mom’s, seedlings, and young clones are in Roots Organic. Flowering plants are in 50/50 mix Roots Organic/Vermifire. These Gorilla Glues are more of a 40/60 ratio, Vermifire heavy. I got these cuts on August 6th (already rooted a few days, and in soil) and they sure have grown up! They were put into their 3 gallon grow bags 17 days ago and are pretty big now, there are 15 total getting flipped.

I plan on training the tops through the screen (once I get more rope heh heh) for a few more days then setting the timer to 12/12. Once the screen is filled in to my liking, I’ll shave all the undergrowth. I hand water but that will all be changing soon hopefully… I’ve got a plan!

The other table I’ve got won’t see any flowering action for about 3 weeks. So that’s something to look forward to at least. It will be a tester run and mostly head stash. Going to do one Gorilla Glue #4, 2 Candylands, 2 Sour Grapes, a Purple Alien OG, a Pink Champagne, and possibly some of these little seedlings I’ve got going on…

I have a pretty simple DIY drip system idea I've got to put into action (PVC, tote for res, pump, sprayer nozzles). I was actually going to post on here about it once I've done all the calculations. . . See if I could get some tips. For now I hand water, and yes, it is a pain in the ass when the SCROG is in place.

So far the H&G is pretty awesome, we will see how things go this round.


Gorilla Glue #4 momma plants

So I got my SCROG finished up, it's not perfect but it will do. I plan on flipping on Tuesday, possibly Wednesday. The Glues in the bloom room have been getting 10.5 ml/gal of H&G Soil A&B at a ph of 6.2 Today they also got some Floralicious Plus.

I gave the Gorilla Glue girls a little haircut. I've never pruned this much before bloom (usually take off everything below the screen at day 12 or so of flower) so hopefully it all works out. I didn't go too crazy... Just tried to roughly estimate the stretch and chopped stuff I figured wouldn't reach the screen. In early bloom I will really shave em good!

I still plan on flowering tomorrow

Had some set backs. . . life. Back on track now.

Just turned the lights off, the GG4 ladies will be in darkness for 24 hours. Maybe 48. I know some people do even longer.

What methods do you use to initiate flowering?

It's 4 in the morning and I'm not tired. Kind of weird. Doing some maintenance to the veg area. Keep it clean!

This morning I sprayed down all the mommas, teens, and babies in the veg area with Monterey Insect Spray and a bit of GreenCure. There were a few gnats hanging around but pretty sure I blasted them, nothing serious.

This Candyland and it's twin sister are getting transplanted today, a little later then I had originally planned but they're alright!

Here's part of veg: Sour Grapes, Gorilla Glue #4, Pink Champagne (back right) looks hungry.. I know.

I have not. My buddy who blessed me with the cuts has been running it for awhile, however. I've smoked the final product, really impressive!

Nice! Yeah, she seems to be a looker. Haven't heard much about "blockhead" do you know its pedigree? The GG4 is Chem Sis x SourDubb x Chocolate Diesel, if I'm not mistaken.

I've been playing with them for a few months now and am really looking fwd. to seeing how your turn out with using the H&G Top Shooter, I've been wanting to try some for a bit now. I wanted to chime in and mention the Bloom Bros Hydro Halos with their 1/2" inlets work swell.
