Either way spending a good bit of time in Hawaii sounds great whatever island I end up on. Big island sounds cool this time more and more every time I think on it plus there is a chicken breeder I really want to link with who lives on big island
alls i can say is there are cuts that I have experienced grown a multitude of ways...
indoor (in which what state you reside in doesnt really matter)
outdoor
greenhouse
nor cal so cal oregon kentucky ohio florida hawaii... not a lot of states...
but a few
im also goddamn spoiled enough to bring over a few cuts of what i thought were the best of the best of the best, after sorting thru what seems like some 100+ clones/varieties/cultivars myself (it was probably more like 60 so sorry for exaggeration)...
I used to think it was bullshit that folks would say the best pot they ever smoked was from hawaii/maui. you know, they were on vacation and had no cares their mind frames were different than they normally were so they were more open to enjoyment... all kinds of reasons to think yeah thats probably sounds about right they were just having a good time and got really high.
if you don't understand mana, i cannot help you understand. but there is plenty mana on this rock, and all that mana, the plants soak it up. it causes them to thrive. it causes them to be even better than they can be under other circumstances. it happens with people, sometimes if they are open to it. its a powerful place. the ground. the air. the sun. the mana of the 'aina is strong.
its not a pissing contact. even though it kind of is. hahaha - thats so we can have fun with it.
its all good fun. and fun is a two way street.
i will speak from experience. Experience>Bias. Experience over Bias.
using ChemD as a baseline...
the best Chem D grown anywhere anyhow anywhere by anyone on the mainland will be inferior to that a Chem D clone that grew up on the side of Haleakala. I have not had Chem D from the mountains on the Westside, but I am assuming their results can meet upcountry's...

Mainland pot is like polpouri. It looks nice and dense but lacks in the other departments. I have tried many "primo" samples with GS and never been blown away. I rather have indoor than mainland outdoor ......... and I hate indoor budz.
