Foxtail "buds" and claws, what's going (wr)on(g)? Waterfarms/Biogreen/CBD Skunk Haze

hi,

I've got some strange bud growth regarding my more sativa shaped plants/phenos. I got CBD Skunk Haze, CBD Compassion and a random cross in the box. Not all plants are affected, e.g. all of the Compassions and one CBD Skunk Haze).

The pictures are all from my last grow, 40 days in bloom, but it's the same problem, not just as much advanced since it's only 34 days in bloom now.

Please ignore the fact that I burned them, there's plenty of room between the tops and the lamp this time.

Compassion doing okay:

Facts:

- GHE Waterfarms, watering only during daytime (12h nonstop)
- Fertilizer: Bio Green, using their feeding scheme http://bio-green.info/cms.php?id_cms=7
- 34 days in bloom now
- EC 0,96 stable, not sinking at the moment
- PH 5,4 - 5,9
- temp. air: 29°C
- temp. water: 22°C

thanks in advance. :dance013:

Hello, mate,

This issue of long time of overlight and overheating the buds near the lamp.
Due this case affected buds almost no have thichomes and low smell (first two pics). Buds what placed lower must looks more healthy on the same plant.

Heat stress on pic #3

you can try to rise your lamps and reduce overall temp in your grow cab.
but it's helps only on the next grow round.

hi smailer,

these are pictures of my last grow (250W NDL). This time I have about 30-40cm distance to the lamp (2*150W) and very similar problems. It's not that bad, but still mades me think it may be also a nutrient problem.

He says broad mites... The plants look like they have been in 3 different light cycles in 2 months. That is to say there were clones of a flowering plant revegged, and now flowering. There be ur clawin. The "foxtails" you claim is probably a bit o' stretch because of the sativa leaning tendency of the haze. Abnormal stretch can also be caused by being root bound. What are the finish times on them?

Not sure what's worse.

The Skunk Haze should flower for about 70 days, according to the breeder. The Compassions about 60 days and the random cross - no idea, I guess +70 days?

I would start some new seeds.
Yeah maybe, it's the last chance for these, then I give the mothers away or dump them.

I just changed the nutrient solution and gave only half the dose of Calgel. I read about Metrop Calgreen (which is said to be quite similar to Biogreens Calgel) that it can cause trouble due to high nitrogen levels. That's what would have been my guess.

I just made some pictures, now that I have my camera back. It's 43 days in bloom now.

A friend of mine got a cut of that random cross and told me it was "genetic garbage". Behaved just like in the pics above, landrace like. So obviously not a nutrient problem at all.

I concur especially if you look at pic 1 your way to close to the bulb mon. Try tying that one down a bit or your out of luck its a tall one ie more sativa than your others. Temps should not reach 27 deg c...or around 90 I think F. Cheers then mon.
