or ffshould I introduce and independent fsather, I'm thinking Zamal Hash x Violetta but I only find feminized. I may cross the Orient s Express to ZH and V and later cross those two

You could look for a male in one of the parent lines, like malawi, zamal or pck. That would take a few generations or more, but if you select carefully might get something worth stabalizing.

The shortcut is to force male flowers in one of them for a 4 way poly hybrid cross.

Hi GOATSQUATCH,

To produce seeds by using only female plants, you need to reverse one (usually with STS) and to pollinate the other/s.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

here is a bottle of 240 PPM colloidal silver

http://www.amazon.com/Colloidal-Sil...d=1410221989&sr=8-2&keywords=colloidal+silver

dilute it down to about 50-60 ppm with R/O water - 0 ppm water

start spraying one female on the inter-nodes where the bud sites appear when you flip to 12/12 (separate from other female in veg)

take's two weeks to reverse plant~

two to four weeks for viable pollen (reversed female pollen for fem seeds)

put your other female into 12/12 and pollinate bud sites at day 28. good luck.

1st female (reversed)12/12 2-4 weeks before 2nd female(not reversed).

The C.Silver is hard on the plant and foliage, you will see ugly leaves...

Very helpful summary, CAD. :tiphat:

So taking 240ppm down to 55ppm is easy - just increase the initial volume to ~4 1/3 total. That gives you a little over a half gallon with the 16oz bottle.

My question is how much of that half gallon is needed to properly reverse a single female during the 2 week STS treatment? I know it depends on many factors so let's eliminate variables and assume it's an average female 50/50 hybrid of an average size that has been in veg for 4 weeks in an adequate medium (~2 gallons of soil).

Any tips on how frequently to apply during the 2 weeks of STS spraying?

How wet should each internode be after spraying - e.g. barely misted, liberally soaked, etc?

Any key environmental factors that will cause the reversal to fail (beyond the normal temp/humidity/pH/watering fundamentals) such as a particular additive (Superthrive comes to mind as potentially problematic, for example)?

Peace,

So taking 240ppm down to 55ppm is easy - just increase the initial volume to ~4 1/3 total. That gives you a little over a half gallon with the 16oz bottle. Yeah, I bought T.Mist at one point. Shame on me. 1 oz 25$

I fill my T.Mist spray bottle twice, so that's about 60ML~ . A bottle of TIRESIAS MIST is one oz or 29.5 ML. Pretty sure T.Mist is C.Silver.

Any tips on how frequently to apply during the 2 weeks of STS spraying? I spray every time right after the lights go out. Some spray multiple times a night.

How wet should each internode be after spraying - e.g. barely misted, liberally soaked, etc? One mist (spray) on the internode soaks it pretty much, just do your best to avoid the fan leaves and get the internodes. It really messes the fan leaves up. Say you have 6 intenodes \l/ spray each side, so 12 sprays a day minimum. I reverse the whole plant since the buds can not be consumed, so I spray the inter-nodes on the main branch and others as well.

Any key environmental factors that will cause the reversal to fail (beyond the normal temp/humidity/pH/watering fundamentals) such as a particular additive (Superthrive comes to mind as potentially problematic, for example)? I never use ST in flower so not sure what that would do, but people say avoid it. I use it for transplants only and veg occasionally. Keep the room dialed in like you normally would 45-50 RH 72-78F day with no C02. I feed same flower schedule, the only difference is you are reversing the plant. Their is some stunting - time for it to do it's thing, so I wouldn't up the ec's like you normally would.

Peace,
snowday

check out your messages board for a tutorial I followed a while back...and have used the method since...good luck
