The 8" fan I have moves 1020m3 per hr will also be running the lights at night, if that's not adequate I will add a 6" intake....

Would a halo ring ring be better than a standard Wilma dripper as it would give a more even watering ?

Cheers Guys

Fall or not , youre gonna have to cool that room somehow...

Fall time here also, 43 degrees in my grow rooms this morning:biggrin: I think it's time to stop cooling my rooms with outside air. Even when the 1000 watter is a blazin it only hits mid 60s:biggrin:

Your veg time is determined by your lights, strains, how much you want to yield per plant and how big a canopy space you're trying to fill.

You can get 40+oz from 2x600s.

40/5 is 8oz per plant.

5x6L pots in that system in that way won't hit that target. Use one of those lights and start some more plants. Or use bigger pots and veg for longer and forget any system that restricts your canopy footprint to one light's worth of useable space.

Your fan is more than enough for uk autumn night time. It'd be enough for summer too.

Cold will be your biggest enemy, not heat. Make sure your temps never drop below 19-20c.
Cold roots put a bigger dent in your yield than hot air. You can get away with 30c canopy temps no problem, which is 4 degrees higher than most people recommend. You won't get away with 15c roots, which is 4 degrees lower.

Instead of air pots I use the smart pots or geo pots so I get the benefits of the root pruning while still being able to retain some water. However they do dry out faster than regular pots..so save some water for the whales homie.

Papaduc thanks for your input, so what would be the best way to achieve 40+ oz with two 600w ?

Are you in the UK too ?

Cheers

Yea I'm in the uk.

Like I say, use one of your 600s for the 5 of them and start more seeds/clones... or veg them bigger and pinch them out to keep them even and make a nice canopy.

This is what you can do under 1 of your 600s

There's no net in there. I don't like nets unless they're needed for support, they're restrictive and fiddly.

If you don't over veg, pinch a lot. and you time the flip right, you can fill in a canopy nice without a net. Defoliating helps and seems to keep everything solid, even down underneath the canopy.

Impressive mate ! As I only have once area to grow in I can't have plants and seeds on the go at the same time so I guess a longer veg and pinch them out would be mybest option.... What system are you growing in, can you recommend a high yielder,

Cheers again

Just pots and saucers on that one mate. Nothing fancy. Make a dripper system by just plugging equal size lines into a decent quality hose - I find the thicker the wall on the hose, such as a 3mm wall braided hose, the less likely to leak and the more secure the fit round the nipple - put an end stopper on it and secure it with a pipe clip, get a pump and you're done.

Haven't you bought your seeds yet? If you haven't, there's no need to restrict yourself to 5 plants. I'd do 4-6 under each light. It's your best way to guarantee yield and in quick time

Is that pots and saucers sat in a large tray to catch any overspill ?? No haven't purchased the seeds, got my eye on a couple of heavy yielders but haven't decided ....

No, just deep saucers with enough room for a few liters of run off.
What have you got your eye on?
