Bloom Boosters and 6/9

What are some of the bloom boosters people have used and have experience using on top of 6/9? Im in day 5of flower and cant decide whether to use hydroplex or liquid KB.

you can get 1000 grams of Koolbloom powder compared to MOAB 100 grams.

I'm thinking you can just use the koolbloom powder in low dosages vs koolbloom liquid, not sure why I bought both?

Here is a gram broken down.

-I think maybe 0.1-0.2 (2/10th) of a gram would be similar to 1 ML of koolbloom liquid to a gallon

edit - seems like koolbloom liquid is a heck of a lot lighter and I'm glad I bought it. anyways good luck man, you have a journal going?

I have used liquid koolbloom powdered koolbloom. My favorite that I have returned too is beastie bloomz by fox farm. Good shit....

While in the hydro store a few days ago a worker told me that a GH rep had told him that their very popular Koolbloom liquid contains NOTHING more than watered down Maxibloom powder. No misprint or misunderstanding, not made from Koolbloom powder or other mixes but from straight Maxibloom powder and water.

KB liquid is 0-10-10 and Maxibloom is 5-15-14.
Please explain.

Yea I was gonna say...liquid kb is 0-10-10 and tbe powder is like 2-48-36 or some shit like that. I would never use powder kb in place of liquid being that youre already only supposed to use a quarter t spoon...cant really break it down further...liquid kb and powder are 2 totally different things

Tomorrow will be day 7 of flower for me. Im currently at 6/9 with 2ml liquid kb and a tad of silica. Gonna boost to 3ml liquid kb tomorrow

Ya I know the numbers are different. I was looking at some chick in a different isle while he was explaining how they cut it. I guess that means I have to go back and have him explain it to this stoner again

Those dudes would tell you they get great reports back from dog shit. If theres one thing I learned over the years, hydro store owners who actually know what the fuck theyre talking about are few and far between.

Be advised that later on Rez quit doing the slam at day 15 as 15 seemed to early. I don't know if this is talked about in that thread or a different thread as I failed to mark it down where it's discussed. This sort of fits in with other peoples opinion that you shouldn't start the boosters till week 4. But it's all opinions.

well, foxtailing(other problems) is the last thing I want or would advocate.

I think you guys know what's best - I was totally sold on that schedule - but early use of PK boosters gave me foxtail buds that I threw into trim...

1/4 tsp KBP on week 8.

of course strain dependent, regime, ect.

2ml/gal liquid KB is a lot less than 1tsp/gal KB dry that rez called for.

I've never used a bloom "booster" before so forgive the silly question. How come you use a PK booster (to increase the PK?) instead of just using more bloom in lucas?

i've used "lucas" (as a guideline) formula over the years and i just increase the ratio in mid flower before dropping it back down as i get to the end.
for example lets say...
1st few weeks of flower 1-3 i use 7:10
4th week or so i'll go 10:12
6th week 6:15
7th week 4:15
8th week 2:10
9th week 2:5
::flush::
plain water + molasses / plain water till end. assuming a 12-16 week type of plant. change the scale for however long it goes.

why is a PK booster better than just raising the ratio of bloom to micro? basically.

Micro has more than just npk...so all the smaller trace elements would be raising as well. technically you could do what youre doing and be fine but I like to have more control of whats going in

It's Simple - PK boosters are better at removing a shitload of money from your wallet than just increasing your base bloom nutes are.

Liquid Kool Bloom is NOT a bud booster the sole purpose of liquid is a stress reducer to enable your plants to create more bud sights stress free. You can actually use the liquid through all stages it is not a boost. PEACE!
