a mexican cross in an advanced bonsai style cycle, made with a modern Oaxaca crossed to Michoacan/Chihuahua/Michoacan. Not full sativa, sweet aromas. Lets see hows the smoke and what sisters do in the garden.

Same goes with advanced Red Snake#32 (Oaxaca79 x Colombia Punto Rojo) x Michoacan/Chihuahua/Michoacan. Starting to smell so sweet. RS#32 gave best offsprings up to now

After watching Bushweed plants is a shame to watch these bonsais ;) These plants names are larger than plant themselves lol

When you say not full Sativa , is it because the Nthn Mexican strains are hybrids or full Indica ?

I have heard some Northern varieties are Indica types and finish earlier .

Thanks for sharin

Oaxaca is a modern version of, bit darked bladed
Piedra de Chihuahua is a potent hybrid, you are right contains indica and effect ends up more mellow

there are strong indicas in Sinaloa today, guess hybrids, some have funny local names like talibana, matadora, pakistana... Mentioned time ago also about the cinamon weed or mota canela or jamaica, short plants of cinamon color very frequent been told. Everything growing there gets strong they say

The story I read long ago was the Big Bud that got really popular in the late 80s early 90s was a Nthn Mexican strain .
Could well have been an expat Pakistani or Afghani I guess . The growers changing their genetics to finish earlier or just better bag appeal .

Thanks for sharin

Mexican growers have adapted to both pressures from the WoD & the desires of their American customers by growing faster maturing indica hybrids, obviously. They may provide better yield, as well. Dunno.

It's good to have the field bricked & gone when the choppers show up, and it's good business to offer weed more to the tastes of the consumers at the far end of it all.

I have to say that I miss the soaring high, unique aroma & smooth smoke of really good Mexican of long ago. It was fairly rare even then, but very special.
