2014 High in the Rockies

Summer grow is one hundred gallon smarties on pallets . winter grows are 30 gallon air pots. I have a few of those home depot grande size fans also. They work well for circulation but you cant aim them so with the fan sitting between rows it tends to beat up the lower leaves on the plants around the fan is all . I have air movers about mid span keeping everything circulating well. Also a few large celling fans that are the shit !
I have had some issues with the light from the pellet stove f
keeping partial plants from flowering . I solved this by stopping cleaning the glass door on the stove . once some creosote builds it seems to knock it down a bit. Never had it hurt harvest really at all . Good luck with your harves !!! Colorado style ! Peace, Oldschoolgrower

Wow....one of the best hothouses I've seen yet on icmag.

Impressive as hell, turbo. Keep up the good work, man.

HB.

Thanks for the kind words! It's all starting to come together:laughing:

Fuck yeah!

Thanks for the input! I might try a winter run next season. I will be prepared and setup for this coming spring season. We are going to try to get 3 runs in out of the greenhouse next year. This year's run was seriously slapped together last minute with some extra plants I had, lol. I'm gonna grow some really big ladies next year:) 10'ers is what I'm aiming for for next season.

Do you light dep at all? Manual or automatic? I'm thinking of getting an interior dep system that is controlled wirelessly. The guys at total energy group seem to be the way to go, any others you or anyone else suggests?

What strains ya running old school?

Turbo, you are going to have a hell of a time walking those isles between the plants in another month or so. Maybe you should buy a mechanic's creeper so you can roll around on the ground underneath those soon to be massive canopies!

Big plants make the isles look small, there's plenty of room in between the plants. The stretch is just about over :) It's nug time.

Wow

Wow

Looks amazing turbo! IF you don't mind me asking...what is light dep? How does it work exactly? I hope this is not a stupid question....I have been growing indoors for years....but am unsure of some of the terminology of the outdoor grows.

Thanks

No question is a stupid question:)

Light deprivation. Basically you pull a tarp over the greenhouse to kick the plant into flowering. This is usually done at 6-7 pm and removed at 6-7 AM. Pretty much mocking an indoor flowering cycle of 12/12.

I choose not to do this on this run. I let them flower naturally with the August sun.

Thanks guys!

Starting to get chilly on the hill now, we we're in the low 40's last night.

Getting a 200k btu Modine heater dropped in today. No more worries:)

LOL 200k btu ! A jet engine ! I just plumbed a PEX loop field for a radiant floor! Hoping to cut heating costs!

Single layer 6 mil poly. Will be in the 30's here in the next few weeks. I wish radiant heating would work where I'm at, it could but with a lot of work. I like to plug and play.

200k btu on a thermostat will handle year round negative temps.

I love my jet engine:)
