IMHO we should thank you, when people share what hurts or helps or gives them joy we all get connected and grow together. I know you sharing your experience changed the way I look at the people around me. I think this is a good example of your late wife making the world a better place, she inspired enough love in you that you where able to reach out and share your pain. We all grow together.

Well said theother, it is so true. So sorry for the loss of your wife DJ.

I lost my oldest son 3+ years ago and it has been incredibly tough.

My thoughts are with you, DJXX. PM's always open if you need to vent...

they died, but the love they left lives on within.

Pot has helped gotten me through the most painful parts of my life and when the pain became so bad I became a junkie, well it helped me past that as well.

Glad to see you posting, talking about it and moving forward with as much grace as possible.

I have learned that suffering does not have to be a consequence of loss although it is our nature to go to this place first.

My grandmother passed 37 years after my grandfather, yet it never felt as if they were apart. She had an amazing way of looking at the world and keeping memories alive.

We can look at the dynamics of life and call them a punishment or a call them a gift, it is after all a matter of perspective.

You could break it down to a simple were you cursed to lose here early or blessed to have her at all.

I know that these are simply matters of perspective but this is the realm we ultimately have control over.
