I could get into some road trippin sometime soon.
If I find a good pheno in the mess of seeds I'm poppin, there may be a chance of participating.
Either way, it's the company we keep that makes it fun.
Ok been a little more then 2 weeks since the last time I updated the minions on my garden. First up is the bubba, she's getting hard to pics of she's being eaten by GDP and cookies.

Dark City Diesel. I'm not sure how yours are doing....you may even be finished with yours by now SG, but I'm really Iiking my plant...not a bad yield and the smell is very sweet....nice trich production as well....I think this has the potential to be the best stuff I've ever grown....thanks for the opportunity to grow this beauty.

Gorilla glue.... For some reason I have been searching for anything crossed with it..... Never had it but it looks so pretty
My DCD's didn't test well enough to consider any of them keepers.
Top THC was only 14.5%.
Noc's were better with less hermie issues.
Goblin Queens were best by far.
I'm glad you enjoyed the grow and smoking of the DCD.
It had some great flavors for sure.

HEY!!!! You're UP! LOL I can take some more...I'm bored anyhow & sleep looks as tho' it ain't gonna happen for awhile...at least for us! LOL What's happening in Denver?? Got a question for you, Sea.....I asked in Billy's thread, but it looks like he & SG are snoozin'....So, the 8000 ft experiment....Question: It's dropping down into the 40's at night up here....& her growth is slowing....a lot! But the BUDS are starting to stack, days are getting shorter, colder & fall is right around the corner....I would say she has only put on a inch or 2 in the last week....solutions??? Suggestions??? Yells???? Swearing??? LOL Come on now, besides hauling it indoors (I don't want to do this!!!) She has been out there since the end of May & is approx. 2 ft.....

To be honest, my outdoor experience is all in Texas...
But anything below 40*F can result in damage... mid 40's you're probably on the edge... but wont die.
I'd take em in if possible.... cold temperature damage is usually more related to cold soil temps... if its in a pot outside.... it's not as good as if it's in the ground outside.

At night and the highs are 48 they just stop lol I cover what
I can to keep the hard freeze off them and one year I had
A nice hoophouse over them with a radiant heater haha
This year I have a oil burnning smudge pot looking jobber
That I might try and if I have too I will yard them all to a
Tight space with the 2500lbs winch on wheelchair and
Make a small hoop home for them.

ok....now here is the Veg Table....it's got 12 plants total...2 of those is Halox2 (Helen & Hillary), 2 Dark Goblin (Dixie & Diana), 2 Blueberry, 2 Lavender, 2 Bubba Kush (Bubba-Baby), & 2 Unknowns (Fiona & Catlain)......OOPS!!! Pics didn't load....try again, Julie....LOL

I have only one out there, but I really wanted to see what would happen out there...to SEE with my own eyes if I have an "outdoor season" to grow up here....I can't plant bigger Smart Pots out there & have to haul them in every night.....hummmmm.....dishes.....

It will take a lot of experimenting to find the right cut of the right strain to fulfill your altitudal needs.
8000ft is way up there.
It's always best to have, say a pre-flower prone Halo, put it in a long veg prior to going outdoors.
If kept at say 20-22hrs light cycle, then put outdoors, will go into flower.
Still would have to search for the right cut.
If I were you, I'd construct a frame out of plumbing pipe and cover the plants with plastic at night.
Milk jugs full of hot tap water inside the plastic will keep just enough warmth to keep them healthy.
Plants that tolerate cold well will stall out when frosty mornings come.
It is the beginning of the end.
Mold is the enemy more so than the cold, but run together.
