and make sure ur not putting ur cloners on cement floors.. that's were I had problems.. I put on a piece of plywood about 3/4th inch .. and those issues of non rooting.. or slow rooting stopped.. water temps that stay stable.. will do much better then something rising and falling.. especially with night and day time on a basement cement floor.

Mine sits directly on the cement... on the basement floor.
I can't even remember the last time a clone didn't take root.
It's my opinion that most of the problems from cloning are...
1. Taking crappy (unhealthy) clones to root in the first place.
2. Not cleaning up the gear (cloners) properly and thoroughly .
3. Using too many supplements, gels, powders, etc...
4. Too much direct light.
5. Impatiences, not all stains produce roots in 10 days.
6. Over thinking the proses, always changing things up.
7. I could go on and on...

Clean hands and really clean gear go a long ways towards success !
Shit, I know peeps that still use the "old cup of water" in the window
trick, with great success I might add... even my grandma can get roots.

Took a few buds to dry so I have smoke at harvest at day 60.
After putting a scope to week 8 flowers....they could go 70 days for sure.
At 56 days the trichs had some cloudies, but the heads were mostly just starting to turn.
At day 63 the trichs should be cloudy but will still have a bunch of clears. Especially at the bottoms.
I would say this strain is a 10 weeker at minimum.
I cant see it being "Incredibly Strong Blue Smoke" any earlier....
Unless you like a high schoolish, sweaty forehead, blast and pass, clear trich, kinda high.

I have an aerocloner and have never been able to get roots using it. Keep everything right. Have used Philthy's recipe in it and some others. Temps have never been an issue. Just can't get the things too root. So far it's been making a very nice place to store stuff on top of it. At least I'm getting some use out of it, lol

Mine is now an EZ Table for now too. New pump n mani and I should be good

My 5 clones in Rockwool are starting to dry out a bit. Now for rooting these bitches do people suggest go light or heavy. I have pro-gro and liquid karma from botanicare, usually use 10ml a gal of each. Rapid root from go 2 to 3 ml a gal. And then clonex, about 15ml a gal. I soak cubes in this, use root tech cloning gel and dip. For this rewetting should I just use cal magd ro water and drop a little rootech in the hole near the stem. I usually don't care about clones, I take 50 looking for 16 winners and kill the rest. Usually I don't care if they die, I have backups. So light feeding or no feeding? They have been in Rockwool for 5 days. No dome most of the day, domes at night. 1 spray of cal magd ppm 140 water.

It's like that opportunity to date a 10. I am overthinking it I know but I do wanna see how she does behind closed doors.

Any help appreciated.

good to see this thread is still going strong. ive got about 20 gg#4 outdoors and they are doing wonderfully, can wait till harvest, should be some real weight along with quality buds. also doing (od) tw, skywalker og and c99. im just about out of meds now9have maybe a month's left if imprudent so unless a miracle happens ill be clearing my head in preperation for the glue. luckily got some going indoors too, that and strawberry cough, aficiando's black lime(cuts) and some of thery cherry pie hybrid( also given to me as a cut) and phantom cookies. just flipped though so ill be out for atleast a month. oh boy, havent taken a break that long since i was a kid! its all relative though, just recently moved into a nice 4 bedroom house (after living in a shack for 3 years) and have a baby boy on the way due in november. its gonna be interesting
