Gorilla Glue #4

I dipped clones in a mixture of pro-gro , liquid karma, rapid root and clonex. After I let them sit for a minute I cut the end at an angle, dip into rooting hormone gel and put into cubes. I have had 90% with this method prior to this. Temps went up this week so did Rh. So I setup a new cloning area in a separate building for the gg. I root into Rockwool. This was 2 days ago. I am not seeing any issues thus far for the gg. Another tray of my males that I took cuttings from s falling apart right now. They were in the hotter area, 90degrees and high rh for 3 days prior. So can we agree their environment was fucked? I am just worried these gg will follow their fate. No issues yet, no blackening of the growing tip, no mushy stem. Should I drop a dab of honey down each hole where the Rockwool ND stem meet? I live in the middle of nowhere so getting these glues out here was a celebration in itself. Thanks for all the advice everyone. I Don have a willow tree but I have an aloe plant. I have never scraped stems too much, should I maybe pull them out and scrape, then dip in aloe honey and use 5.5 ro water in Rockwool? Might be too much for the little guys. The person I got them from their mother was really low on cuttings and hurting a bit. If anything happens to these I could never get more. I just wouldn't even want to ask. Either way all appreciate the help. Looks like I need to find a willow tree at a nursery now for future endeavour.

I've also steeped willow's growing tips to soak clones overnight... success

And I've stabbed a clone's stem into a whole aloe filet... left it there about 4 minutes and planted that with success....

Lastly, I've done nothing with success.... cut, scrape, and into soil.... no soak, no dip, no powder.

I believe environmental factors such as humidity are more important than what gel you use....

...and taking enough, and the correct cuts.
Temperature too, very important. Especially in a bubble cloner.

Big D; I recently put my seedling mat under my bubble cloner. Expected stem-rot issues to go through the roof, but instead rooting went wild.

The temp works best at about 70-74f in a areo cloner. You must change the water every 7-10 days or all cuts will die.. The heat has a small window once it goes over that you don't have much time to change out the water. I get my bets roots in the temp range

I use a reptile mat, put a piece of 1x8 pine ontop and then the cloner. Works perfect! Same way I germ seeds.

Pf, spot on bro! 74° is like magic for gg4

I've got best results in my last 2 aero cloners with temps in the low 90's, without ever changing the rez...

^ Cool note to that pic.
Two different strains (TGA CheeseQuake left and AK-47 right) and two completely different root growth formations already.

I would check the temp with something else. Temps like that will kill cuts happens all the time. My cuts are transplanted way before they would ever have roots like that. Are you growing the plants in the Areo? Is there a air stone in the res. That's not what we see at those temps. The stem will become soggy/slimy(root rot) than die. There's lots of info most 70-75f some 75-80f.. Anything between 70-85f will work but the hotter the water the more problems you could have. The biggest root rot.

I really want to wait till day 63 but Im not sure if I can. Im gonna try like hell to let them go till atleast day 60. Its only 4 more days. Its a serious time crunch for me, but I also dont want to be wondering "how good it could of been if only I had...."

@ HUEL PERKINS -
The room temps are at 90* or is the water temps at 90*?
I always let my roots get long and crazy too before t/p into 1's. I find it makes the clone really established and strong. Ready to flip the next day if you needed too. That CheeseQuake certainly puts out some beautiful roots.

I let my roots get like this -

16 days after t/p -

It helps things go from t/p to full on veg with no stall time.
Or from t/p to full on flowering in 12 days after taking out the cloner for a SOG -

You know - your main concern, after having put that much effort in a cycle - is letting them get their full weight to them.

I figure, it's already significantly better than anything in your area as it is at 8wks - but...

It certainly hasn't plumped up quiet as much as it can if it goes another week...
