Golden Diesel Seeds in the making

Greetings fellow stoners!

After 2 years working on my baby project, Golden Diesel, I am getting close to completion - stable Golden Diesel in seed form!
This grow diary is aimed to show the high society the final step toward releasing the seeds to the world.

The last year was amazingly awesome for the Golden Diesel in its home-base, Israel, as a lot of cuttings, buds and even some crosses were reachable to a decently sized community. It still is, but not from me - I've moved on to focus entirely on the final step of seed production - the F4.
My goals are... well, what every average stoner-grower is looking for in weed - extreme potency, high yield, great taste and easy to grow. However, the main goal for my genetics was always the same - character. I'm always looking for euphoric and calming elements as a top priority.

I'm always looking for the best weed for ME disregarding any marketing needs and so on. So far it seems like what everyone else is looking for as well
Having said that, I do plan on making an automatic version of the Golden Diesel along with a feminized version (and a regular version to follow) in order to make the Golden Diesel accessible to people who can only grow automatic plants.

03_08_14: 110 seeds were put in tap water glasses. Some hours later 109 seeds were put in a propagator with coco.

05_08_14: 16 sprouts have been planted.

11_08_14: 100 or so seeds planted in coco

23_08_14:

25_08_14: 64 seedlings got planted in the final pot

27_08_14:

04_09_14: The first 16 plants got trimmed for 3 cuttings and had their bigger leaves removed for better air circulation.

20_09_14: Switched to 12-12, flowering days count starts on the 21_09_14.

And we're starting!

After setting up a basic setup for seedlings (a 240x120 tent with an air cooled 400W) I've dropped 110 seeds into tap water glasses. They would be in water for a few hours.
The indoor temps at the spot are comfortable to begin with - 21 C, 85% RH.

For the moment I rather not discuss the origins of the strain.

109 seeds were put in a propagator with rain-water washed coco inside the grow tent with the lights on.
Temps are 24C and should rise soon. Humidity is at 100% at the moment. When need be the propagator cover will be lifted to lower the humidity.

Edit:
Temps stabilized on 28 and RH on 65%, but the RH inside the propagator is still above dew point.

Seeds are germinating well but I'm waiting for them to pop out of the coco.
Hopefuly in a few hours I'll have all the last things needed to set up the tent

I planted 16 sprouts into 3.6L pots of coco fiber.
I need to get more coco but they look fine in the propagator for now just as well.

I plan on finding good mothers this round, crossing them to make feminized seeds and testing them before releasing them to the world.

Any noteable reasons why you only release fems? =)

Yes, the feedback I recieved from growers so far is that feminized seeds are prefered.
I will certainly hope to release regular seeds as well, but it will take a tiny bit more time.

Sadly I lost most of the seedlings to rot. The propagator was too humid.
I've popped new ones (I have enough stock) while I'm waiting for some stuff I need to start the grow properly anyhow.

After a day in tap water and a day in paper towels I got some pots and coco and planted about 100 more seeds.
Some seeds showed tails, most didn't.

This is how it looks like now:

And a macro shot of one of the first run seedlings. All the ones in the final sized pots look pretty much the same:

They already smell :-D

The seedlings get a very light feeding with House and Garden A+B and Algan Extract.
