sorry to hear that MrsB, hope you guys get through that unscathed.

54F now & no wind, a perfect time for a fire in the pit or fireplace.

that's a nice and cheap set up. They have a little dock with a boat as well. Pretty nice place, something I would like.

Thanks bud, so far we are okay, it's getting even more smokey here, had a little rain and some huge thunder and lightning storm roll thru last night, cooled it off a bit today, that should help the firefighters.

That's a really nice set up S4L, I could sit out there with a fatty and a glass of wine no problem!! hehehe

hehehe hippy, I like a nice cold glass of Chardonnay, as long as it's not a sweet wine I'm in....a good merlot or cab is also wonderful.

it was overcast and 60F all day, overnight & morning temps low 50s/hi 40s.

I know I've told this story elsewhere in this thread but here we go again. it was either Aug 22nd or 23rd back in 2004 and I was going to town for coffee, I pulled up to Tom's cafe a few minutes before 6am and parked in front of the bank, looking up @ the time/temp display I saw it was 33F :nono:

2014 was an unusually cool summer, only one day over 90F to my recollection and just a handful of days over 85F.

Hello all,

Well, It was cool and overcast here.

Where I live we get fog in the mornings starting about now.

In a month, I will be out in the mornings with the leaf blower drying off my girls.

Hoping for a finish like last year and then let it rain...like an El Nino season to fill the lakes and streams and snow pack on the mountains.

That is all.

My heat kicked on last night and the leaves are changing colors already. It's been a cold summer and it looks like it's going to be an early winter. I'm really looking forward to fall though!
