Looking at perspective on this kind of grow kind of brain storming.

I am curious on would you sort one of the best and use as a mother?
It has been my experience to use the bloom spectrum as on some pheno types retarded flowering on the full spectrum. It is all genetics if you want these little closets to produce. In a community that has say 5 or more of these little grow closets. it come as a blessing to mother a good and clone out to friend and return too. This will augment the crosspollination as well.

In a retirement community dedicated to a multitude of ailments Bingo night at the community center gives a young twist giving it to the man so to speak LOL. There is a place that sets up full system for $700.00

again best of success with your grow

I forgot to respond to this one. Yes, I do plan on selecting a single best mother from this group, and I will grow clones of her from that point forward. Thank you for your compliments. :)

Here's the cabinet where I've put all the males:

Lets run a little square footage math here 2x2 = 4 square feet. 6 plants would equal about 5/8th of a square foot. leaving no distance between the wall and the plant> 4 plants will be 1 square plant per square foot no distance wall to canopy. Depending on the genetics you might have to start flower now or at least not taller than 12" on stretchy gene types and a stopper. For me this didn't quite work to have all plants at the same rate of development I found when I staggered the introduction of plants. The larger area and growth I could get the mature one canopies and allow them to fill in in last stages. Giving me a better yield. Best of Luck.

That's good math right there, you are correct. But it's okay, the plants are already flowering. They are on day 17 of 12/12, today. So it'll be fine, I promise. Ideally each plant would have more room, but this is a quick seed run for choosing a mother plant, so sacrifices were made. If the side branches start crowding out the main cola buds I will trim them off.

Next time around, with the bushy nature of this strain, I will grow a single plant and veg it out for like 6 weeks first.

3 more sneaky males were found in the garden today. That leaves me with only 3 remaining females. There is a 4th female in my other LED cabinet, so I guess I will move that one in here and have a total of 4 females. Anyway, dang, there were 8 males to 4 females. Oh well, right?

I need to add here: at least the males I just removed look spectacular. They are all really healthy, and have quite an exemplary structure. I think that makes it obvious to me that these are the males I should breed with. So the previous males I separated are now going into the compost heap, and these males are the ones I will collect pollen from. All 3 of them are pungent! They will all make good sperm donors. :D

Well I decided there's this one male that stands out above his brothers. So that's the one I will keep. He has a handsome stature, tight flower clusters, and he stinks to all heaven. Here he is:

Plants are looking great, hush. Just wanted to jump in here and give a quick thank you for the K.I.S.S. instructions on your seed starting techniques earlier in this thread. Took the liberty of putting it to the test with some disposable bagseeds. Went and got some jiffy starter pellets and followed your instructions and now I'm batting 100!! So I tossed the bagseeds and popped in a barney's lsd and now it's sitting in a hempy of coco/pearlite looking better than anything I've done in the past. My ghs slh seedlings have also made a good recovery since I transplanted them out of the soil and applied your kiss methods. Just hope I didn't stress them to the point of hermi.(they are over 2 months old and only like 4 inches tall)*embarrassing* Amazing how weeds will grow when u leave them the hell alone and let them do their thing! Now I will have a few moms to choose from for my micro sog! Thanks again for the detailed instructions. Couldn't have done it without your help....

Hi Hush!, been lurking for a while now. Looking good buddy. I am goi g to do a SOG with my LED's. Good choice of the brand by the way. Doneit has given it his stamp of approval. The reason I'm commenting now though was to ask if you were gong to do a SOG, maybe with the clones you get?

I think the only way to do a SOG with this strain would be to lollipop 'em, and I've never been one to grow that way. I used to do tight SOG grows when I first started growing, and they really rock, but I don't do those anymore. I am a huge fan of LST and I find I get better end results with it than any other methods. In this tent, with the mother plant I'm keeping, I will plant a single clone in here and fill it up. :D

Hey Hush, I am about to upgrade to a 2x2 tent, and was wondering if you would go with a 250w hps or pay the money for the Cali solar or a-51 light...it will be solely for flower like yours, and I am just having this dilemma lol. Thanks! I plan on trying to cram as many possible like you have done lol

You can't go wrong with a 250w HPS in this sized setup. But that being said, I'm now a huge fan of LEDs and will always recommend those when the budget can afford it. I don't know if that helps or not, but yeah. My answer is Yes. :)

All I can really speak on is the one I have, which is 220w. I don't believe they are all created equal. But the one I have seems perfect for a 2x2 space. :tiphat:

I'll try to take some new pictures soon, guys... I've just been real busy harvesting the big tent, and tending to the males. Things definitely still look very good, and the 4 plants have almost already spread themselves out enough to fill the space, just like I predicted. These are some squat, bushy girls right here!
