Star dog is a great seed line that's why their is so many cuts. I've sampled the Corey, the guava, true grits, and a local friends selection. Everyone was good. No duds.

I thought the guava was good nice dense and frosty but not quite as stinky. Good appeal though.

The Cory is nice right on oing with true grits. Never grown the Corey though so I don't know what's better.

My rivals friends was the freak one. We call her head band killer. Super stretchy and busy has that classic chem smel.

I love stardog. Sour dub X's tar dogs are going now to. Follow nby a original ack of dog beans from jj.

I have the guava cut. It is very stoney weed. You have to be strong to fight off the urge to sleep. It does have some high to it. Some weeds get you stoned, some get you high and some do some of each. Guava is mostly stoned (body relaxed and dreamy head) like a barbiturate. I like that in a weed.

I still dig stardawg for sure, need to run her more. I ran the Guava and it was very similar to my cut smell wise and structure in veg but not near the yield or finish flavor/stink.

Im going to be going through more beans because i would like to find one with stink of mine but more compact bud structure like it appears on cory/illuminati cuts. The guava was also a bit tighter than mine bud structure wise. Great seedline though and have a feeling narrowing down keepers will be tough!

Running the GG4 myself now to see what up but ditched the D, 4 and diesels for the star cut and think there is probably several better to be found with enough beans. Ran 91 as well and is pretty close to star in smells but way more finicky. Def personal preference but I wouldn't sleep on Stardawg.

I have the Illuminati cut, which was gifted to me. In veg at the mo with a multi-strain grow. Can't wait to see what the fuss is about :)

Im just finished the stardog from Garberville grass in my dep , did them in 30 gal bags they put out over a half LB each.

The smell was classic chemdog , sour piney and offensive ... I saw aficionados chem special reserve at HTCC San Francisco and it was a dead ringer for stardog.

after smoking both id say the illuminati is stronger than gg4 and daywreaker from the same room!

if you are looking for more sativa high effects which cut would you recommend?

if you are looking for phenos from stardawg seeds what do the "sativa high" stardawgs look like in veg? i'm straight out guessing that more narrow leaves and stretchier phenos might be best plce to start?

thanks

the illuminati cut has a strong head effect but deffo not a sativa mate, gg4 has more sativa to it imo but still not what id be growing if wanting a sativa , pisces do a chem d x columbian gold that you can still get at certain banks, this could be better place to look for a chemmy sativa pheno.
