This is my very first outdoor season thats worth noting.
Ive done small plants in 5gln buckets, and no more than 7.

Last season I had to scrap 5 plants at 6' tall due to the neighbor watching the woods, seeing me, and thinking it was someone else, then telling me someone was in the patch and it wasnt me.

Well...it was me, and I chopped em all down and dumped the soil for nuthin.

This year Im amazed and overwhelmed with how well they are doing.

I wouldnt call your plants small, weak, and spindly. I was saying that because the nodes seem to be spaced quite far apart suggesting the plants were stretching up for light, also the side branches seem to be shorter rather than longer also suggesting that the side branches are not getting good direct light, but it could just be the genetics. No worries bro, I must have misunderstood what your previous question was as to your plants stretching.

There far apart cuz there stretching like I said they are.

My post wasnt a question. It was stating fact.

Anybody use Dirty Business Soil Consulting & Analysis before? I am sending them water samples, soil samples and tissue samples. They are also starting a database for cannabis similar to AEA, but they are in Arcata ca.

I know its hard to tell since theres no reference point, but every plant is far over my head and about 8' wide. Thats why I took the hand/leaf pic as a size reference for you all.
AND BTW......BYF..........My plants are as big and healthy as yours and mines are GUERILLA.......
Maybe Ill bring a ladder out there too......Maybe you can stand at the bottom of it while I turn around, since you have a need to make sure I have a large one :jerkit:
Straighten up your picks!
Im growing mostly GG4 which is a tall lanky girl. They get sun ALL DAY. Direct sun for 8 hours now...and counting down.
Plenty good sunshine. Nothing is stretched out at all. They have been stretching now for a week.
Im sorry Im not in 400gln raised beds in Cali in the damn open BYF. Im a guerilla grow. Sumthing Im sure you could never pull off this good without your 25x little tags.
Sure.....you get 12 hours of direct sun....woop-D-Fuckin-do. Good for you. Your so awesome and great. King shit on these boards.

Do you grow bulldog? Just curious. ..

Yup, been posting in this thread every year for at least the last 6 years. Didn't get my "large" plants into the ground until July 14th this year. I will post up a picture or two this year, but only so I can feel involved. My plants are not on the same level as you guys this year.....:comfort:

When a condicending person comes in and starts belittling other peoples plants...then ya.
Not everyone who grows has a good vibe to there soul.
Some people just hate when there not the best. Or there not the center of attention.
As for me....Im at the center of a monster Guerilla Grow surrounded by plants up to 13' tall....and stretching hard still. I dont care if someone thats legal gets 4 more hours of sunlight than I do.
I get 2x as much for product as the legal guys in the PNW. I dont stuff all kinds of shit down their throats other than rain water.
My Guerrilla Grow will produce just as much as his .....and their in 100 glns of FFOF soil.
I got waaaaay better genetics. On and on and on......

I dont belittle the guy who has only a few late starts. Its aaaaaall good. Small, med, large, XL, or Mendo420's XXXL plants.
Its about the brotherly love. Period! Take a condicending attitude elsewhere.
Big egos are not on my friends list.
If he was to encourage me about something, then awesome. If he was to humbly teach others....GREAT!
Its more important how you say something... than to just say something with a bad vibe.
He didnt even ask if it was the GG#4's genetics that make the plants long legged.
He just straight up said there stretching cuz they need more sun. NOooooooo. Theyre stretching cuz their in transition.
The indoor GG4's had much more internodal space and were much lankier than these outdoor GG4's by far.
I DO have plants with extremely tight nodes. Here ~

These just arent the big GG4's. Their the GrandoggyApe OG's that I made last indoor run.
(GRAPE APE x orig clone only OGKUSH) X GrandoggyPurps
Thats why I didnt post this here in the large plant thread Mr. BYF....Hmmmmm K?

I always love a good who's dick is bigger match up, but lets take it to another thread.

Overgrow - We all can see you got mad skillz bro. Sometimes on the internet it is hard to understand HOW the other person meant to say something. I take things wrong all the time over the internet, just brush it off. BYF seems to be a dick sometimes, but the guy has helped me out a ton over the years. Accept and learn from the good, and brush the bad off. I mean, you guys both have amazing plants that are WAY bigger than mine, if that's any consolation prize......hehe.

By the way, that cross you made sounds delicious. How much does the Granddaddy come through? I love GDP and I love it even more when mixed with a potent OG.

Maybe we need another thread called " The growing plants, outdoors, thread..."

That way those who want to post questions, pics, ideas ect about plants that just average or small or ANY size can feel welcome to do so.

This big plants thread has turned into the go to place for all the best outdoor info, regardless of size.

imo a large plant is anything over 5 pounds, but i know others feel different about that
