here is a small update:

its aprox 2 months from germination now. Showing 9 finger leaf and also on the branching the leaves are uneven, iirc i read somewhere this means its more likely to be female? Its quite tall too, if i cut the top off, where/how far down should i cut? :D

So i finally got some preflowers! I hadnt checked on the plant in a couple of days cos iv been away for work - do you guys think its a female? or is this a male? If its a male im going to kill it straight away lol (i think its a female?) Its really grown in the last week. The seedling is a skunk autoflower that kinda happened by accident, it'll be interesting to see what happens, i'll probably leavit it outside to fend for itself, but the big one can come inside and go under a light if needs be, only got 300w tho and it'll be really upset going from sunlight to 300w i would have thought lol, safe!

hey bro, you should start to force flower her using a big cardboard box, 7pm put the box over the plant, 7am take the box off the plants, this will induce flowering a lot faster than using the natural photperiod, also if your bringing it inside at night, is there artificial light in that said room, this will confuse the plant and stop it from flowering… good lucK!

its been outside for the last few weeks, when it came inside it was well away from light. May well start trying to do the force flower thing but i often have to go away for work and my other half would forget her own head if it werent attached LOL so perhaps its a bad idea.. Was planning on letting it go till maybe end of aug, or middle of sept and then bringing it inside to finish it off. Only got 6ft of grow space tho, could be interesting. Probably should have topped it, but it seemed so happy i didnt want to hurt it lol

cool bro, if it were me i would super crop the main leading shoot, pinch the stem until you hear a crack and leave her be for a few days and then repeat the process, this will not harm the plant but you'll create a much more compact shorter plant to flower her indoors…..

Alright i think im going to do the supercrop thing, its about 6 inches away from being slap bang in my neighbors view as they do the washing up lol. May aslso attempt to train it sideways slightly, although im not actually sure how i would do that, maybe tie it down with some string?

^ a better shot of the preflowers, on a seperate node. They are 2 nodes down from the top. I have done the supercrop thing where you pop the phloem or xylem (i think thats whats being broken on the inside of the stem? its been a longggg time since a-level biology!)

I did it between the node with preflowers (pictured above) and the node below it. Hope i did it right, it felt so wrong!

^^ Just remember bro before you bend it, pinch where your going to bend it until you feel it break up inside the stem, then fold 90 degrees or it will be back up in a day or so. If you bend before pinching you could snap it or not do a good enough job and will be back straight the next day.

Peace

Thats fine mate as long as you have not cleanly snapped the main stem. The bend will form a callus and will be stronger and support the cola better, as well as dos not get to tall.

na literally just a little cut lengthwise on the stem, about 1.5mm, its small but i saw sap so i thought "oh no iv spooned it" lol hopefully its "bless" still then :D not a problem if its broke anyway, i guess in that situation id just cut off the damaged bit, thanks for replying dank :D cheers
