Duck Doi's 5x5 Tent

Hello everyone :tiphat: I'm new to the site and a newbie at growing; I figured it would be fun to start my own little project.

The items I've decided to use include...

A 5x5 Gorilla grow tent
1 AC Unit
Co2 (Still have to get it set up)
Phantom II 1000W digital ballast (It can also do 600W, 750W, and Super):woohoo:
1 Radiant 8" Reflector Unit with a 1000W HPS bulb (I'll be setting it to 600W for now)

For my first go I decided to roll with The White. They're in 2 gallon pots and I'm using Coco as my medium.

The Ladies before they went in.

Got to admit I'm pretty pumped; I'll be posting more in the days to come. :headbange

Good morning everyone!

Here's a pic of the ladies today with the light on.

It seems like they have adjusted well to the transfer. The temperature was 88°f; that's a little to warm for me and my ladies. So I might just replace the AC unit with an Inline fan. For now I dropped the temp on the AC.

I can't wait till these ladies start popping! Until then :watchplant:

If you set up the CO2 it would benefit you more than just cutting the AC. If you're maxing out at 88 with co2 and keeping up with watering (co2 will enhance their growth thereby requiring more water and all that, along with the enhanced heat tolerance). Idk of you have a full controller with I but there's and equation that exists for timed emission in x amount of cubic feet in space in a room to approximate the desired ppm. To utilize CO2 the plant requires if to be between 80-85 I believe, otherwise it's a waste if you're much colder beyond that. You can also attach the fan to a timer and have it blow out every fifteen minutes, both to exhaust the air and draw new air in. I believe the heat forces open the stomata of the plant and allow/force the plant to basically boost it's Growth rate/ yield.

Thanks Nug, very helpful info.:thank you:
I'm still learning about Co2 and finally decided to get it set up. I have a Co2 controller and set it to pump out 1200ppm's. I also took out the AC unit; hooked up an Inline fan and put an oscillating fan in the tent.
I'll have to check on the temp tomorrow morning since the lights aren't on now. But I'll definitely keep the temp around 85°f from now on. Thanks again!

Hello Chunkypigs:tiphat:
I had the AC unit inside the tent and vented the heat from the unit through one of the ports. But since it is too hot where I live it caused the tent to get very humid.
So I had to remove the AC unit and install an inline fan. I have the inline fan sucking heat through the hood to outside. I also have another port moving passive air from the room the tent's in.
For odor control I just have the inline fan blast air outside through an upstairs window.

Afternoon everyone:tiphat:

I'll post pics of The White tomorrow since I was too busy today. I put up a net a couple of days ago and sprayed neem oil.

Went to 2 Rivers in Sacramento this morning and picked up some of BOG's Sour Bubble:yay:.
I've heard many great things about BOG's genetics and decided to jump on the BOG Wagon lol

Until next time...

Afternoon everyone:tiphat:

I planted 6 beans of BOG's Sour Bubble 2½ days ago,
so far I've got 4 that popped.

Hopefully the other 2 pop in a couple hours.

Here's some pics of the seedlings.
