It was definately one of the infrastructural additions I was most stoked about on this project. Figuring out the best way for 1 person to cover 40 ft tunnels was another fun one.

I would definitely recommend this over an airstone, it not only airates, it MOVES that water around

I tired to set up a canopy outside to light dep some plants and it is still in pieces due to it just being me. I could get the frame up but can't get the canopy over the frame by myself. I might dig holes in the ground and then stick the tent poles in that which would help when I put the canopy over. got any tricks you can share?

I talked to a buddy about using easy-up canopys for individual giants or groups of smaller plants. we had two ideas. Both involved the canopy staying constructed throughout the season. 1st thought was just move the plants (depending on container size) in and out of canopy, have the canopy off the the side. The other thought was to build a U-shaped frame to connect the bottom legs of the cannopy with 2x2s. The idea was the canopy could then be slid over the plants, using the open side of the U. We also talked about those costo trim tent/carport tents on skids or a track.

The hoops are much easier. 1x20' length of pvc pipe guerilla-taped to one of the long sides of the each tarp. a 20 foot rope on each end of that pipe, and one in the center. toss the ropes over the frame, walk around and pull from the center. once that much of the center is up and over, the ends of the tunnels are easy.

does the Wendell berry kush have a good yield? high THC? it's bred with plushberry so it should do well outdoors in the PNW right?

I don't know about plushberry outdoor in the pnw, but the WBK is loving life. I've only flowered it once before, 2 3gal grow bags, in a trial run with several others. It produced well, potent, tastes like trix cereal almost. I haven't seen it tested yet though. I picked it initially because moonwreck was one of the first clones I ever grew and it was amazing. I was actually a little wary of a plushberry cross - i dont have any experience with TGa but I hear a lot of mixed things. I know there are good tga phenos, the main complaint I'd heard was that there are too many phenos and are prone to hermie due to all the rapid polyhybrid breeding without stabilization. I think this one turned out well though.

So I had a few people tell me today about how plushberry does well in the pnw. Good to hear doubeddsNuggs! the wendell berrys are really doing well.

Today we applied the nematodes to the bed with the effected orca. It doesn't look to be spreading. Hopefully these little guys keep it that way. I ment to document the application process, but then i got high...

we followed the directions on the container.
hydrate the medium they're in (primarily vermiculite it looked like),
then mix that in with some wetted peat moss,
water the plants
topdress around the plants
water them in.

everything has really stretched! I brought a better camera out.
