It's a mutation that is fairly common... Is whorled phyllotaxy not another term for trifoliates? also fairly common but of no real value, genetically speaking!

Found a whole plant like this growing with some normal ones. I worked at a place that was had biologists/science peeps who were into flowers and they said they've never seen anything like it before and wanted to send out someone from WA State Dept of Agriculture but I freaked and told them I picked it and it was dead. didn't want anyone near my grow but she's still there and almost about to go to seed. I hope I get a bunch more next year! I think it's cool and I want to see the bud that forms!

the stalk was Siamese twin attached and then the two flowers separated and then connected again with their yellow middles touching. the white petals underneath are a separate flower and the petals on top is it's conjoined twin.

it's 20 ft from my outdoor grow. they would have to walk by plants to check it out. it was a damn shame too because I wanted to call it Maisy for mutant daisy.

i used to go on rare plant counts/surveys with blm and forest service. to tell you the truth they prolly wouldnt have seen a giant gorilla making kief with a concrete mixing truck. nose aimed just out from toes or in a book. its almost like not seeing the woods for the trees. hahaha. people looking for plants and mushrooms often get lost very close to the trail for not being focused on thier surroundings and just at the ground in front of them.

isnt it legal in washington anyway? even if it was a little outside the regulation wouldnt it kind of be a non event for law enforcement etc.

you can grow in a secured building like a greenhouse but I couldn't be sure. I don't think it can be out in the open. it involved my place of employment who was going to contact the state dept so I didn't want to risk it if they did see it.

Nes,

Just had to show a seedling that is putting out some strange leaves. About five years ago I had a nice male Hashberry from Mandala that I crossed with a Dutch Passion Original Flo mother. Made a lot of seeds with this cross and this is from that breeding.

Strange looking stubby leaves with an odd group in the center. Definetly gonna keep it around just to see what it does next!

Mutants are fun, I remember seeing a long time ago a strain called "duckfoot" because of how the leaves formed. I believe it was marketed as a plant that could "blend-in" during veg cause it didn't looke like your standary Japanese maple leaf. kind looks like yours, though yours has an oakish flair to it.

Before I got on IC mag, I popped some beans from my buddy's space cheese x bog's blue moon rocks and I got the flat stemmed mutation I saw once on strain hunters morocco (I believe). That was really weird! The stem would get fatter and flatter and wider as it got taller until it would split into two lead branches, completely independently of the normal branching that occured at the nodes.

It looks like it was in soil that's to hot. I've had a few that went like it?
