so for 130 bucks harbor freight has a 1.5 hp pump with a pressure start relay internally and an over heat or empty tank shut off. in other words it functions automatic when ever you turn on a faucet or a timer goes off like the grundfos. looks alot like the grunfos. essentially a knock off cheap chinese style. $30 2year warranty. this could be a very cheap set up.
oh as for the pex totally worth it. it doesnt break when you bump it. no glue and if you find a good parts store you can get it all in poly fittings and there are a variety of fittings to make it all hook to the same fittings etc. fuck gluing pvc im done and switching to pex on any repairs or additions i do.

i know i know it was a temporary set up. its in a room im about to retire, its working though. if it dont ill return it. my next one is getting a grundfos. that pump is awesome. im not exactly thrilled with the h.f.pumps. they work they are louder and jankier and honestly one of the factory fittings is not sealing exactly right im making do with gunga sealing it.
the grunfos is by far the nicest out of the box no alteration but it is 3 x the price. i was just checking these out. if they work for a year its worth it.

How many days are you guys vegging these ladies before flipping to flower and after transplanting from clone?

Ive heard as little as 5 days and as much as 2wks.

You can get away with 7 day veg if everything is dialed to the tits. Perfect clones, perfect environment high RH% and perfect feed strength and they take off within a day. Get 3" of growth in 2 days, top them... get another few inches of growth and top again.. maybe 1 more topping then flip.

It's just hard to get that perfect transition from clone into big flowering room. According to Jack, when everything is perfect and the clones don't notice the transition (due to lack of stress/limiting factors) you can hit em @ 1000ppm to start and they just blow up.

sureshot, i haven't run any of obs gear yet. I've got 10 packs of various crosses mostly NBK (stardog ix male) and a few of the orange juice bud crosses. i wanna pickup some of the alien crosses he just released. checkout his instagram for info, he answers direct messages on IG as well.

he needs to setup a Franchise genetics section on one of the forums.

Caravaggio-

2-4x4 smart pots in every 4x8 botanicare deep tray. 2 x 1000 watts over every 4x8, 15 to 20 plants per light. 10 to 14 day veg topped twice, first 3 weeks of flip weave every other day dont miss a day..Jack

the weaving is even more important than normal... they really move quick in the beds once you flip the switch if things are healthy.

Im doing it a little different. Im doing no topping and 38 plants per light. Averaging about 2lbs per light and about a 10 day veg. I missed the part where he topped but ill give it a go next time. I also don't use any type of netting. Too much work.

if you're running 38/light topping probably isn't as necessary. if it ain't broke don't fix it. if i was doing 2 per with 10day veg and no trellis i wouldn't change a thing, sounds like your setup is doing well as is.

i just looked at his insta.
ill admit i dont give a fuck about vert grows,
but daaaaaamn ..........obs has a really impressive scene he calls A fire wall. it actually made me reconsider my near contemptuous indifference for vert grows.
its on a track and rolls in and out toward the lights.
looked clean and user friendly as well as highly efficient and of course the plants were in perfect health and the canopy was dialed to perfection. worth a peak.

Hey sureshot66..... How are are you pre vegging?
Beer cups? 1gals? What's the protocol? This is a great thread for beds!
I also read jacks over at the farm! You've got me inspired!

i just put my clones in like a 3x3 pot for a week or so then i drop em in the beds, its a good idea to keep some extras in the room in pots and drop em in if some dont transition well, which is always the case

fucking crazy dude. nice healthy looking plants.thats an enviable stack of perfectly filled out tables. youre nailing it to the floor homey. seriously, damn. that looks absolutely perfect. thanks for sharing. this thread has changed my grow.
thanks to you and whatthe215 for sharing the info and helping figure out the drip set up. that was a big help. im light years from where i was before reading this. the hydro stores around here are stone age compared to this thread.
i was getting advice on setting up a drip at the local stores before i got onto this style by you guys.
it was going to be stupid. you saved me from endless frustrating trial and excessive error.
props.
