The best bags for sending stinky bud are the pour n store microwaveable bags they sell in the supermarket, they are thicker than smelly proof and I've used them for years, I've sent to USA with no probs, regular. Obviously they are one layer of many but I won't go over it as others have described it better.

More than likely by dogs
They can't use sniffer dogs to successfully find cannabis thanks to all the cross contamination it would make the dogs hit every parcel that goes thru the system, think about it if someone smoked a joint before work all the parcels they touched all day are now contaminated and dogs would hit on them?
International post is checked more if from a known source county
Anything over 100grams and a police team with a search warrant will come to the address on the letter
5, 10, 15 or 20 grams or something small like that and you will only get a letter from customs saying they sezied 'bla bla bla'

They're 100% xray proof ,obviously you still need to be careful to avoid raising suspicion but there is a way to do it . The package I got was unopened and not tampered with.

I have a few address I can get seeds sent to but plants or buds just disappeared in the post after a while. It's getting a pain having to find new safe address every few months. My local post office won't send packages for me anymore so I have to send the missus or travel to another post office. It's doesn't mater I will always get stuff send regardless of RM.
