This thread is my first post to the community I'm an old school grower with some knowledge seeking more improvements any questions or any advice is appreciated. To start off ill say I'm not inexperienced at all and have ran multiple grows for stores and myself. Last year during the raids I lost my way, loose links sink ships but I'm still sailing on.

Here's the specs. 5 1,000 watts beaming on one 4x8 tray. 32 plants l 35 day veg 6x6 Hugo blocks. Strains are P.O genetics Deep Sleep og, and heavy og,

Flicks will be weekly. I have converted my garage to a test room. 25,000 btu ac carbon fan autoburner and autopilot master controller will be up tomorrow.

These tables are at a 4" grade with 6 manifold drippers connected to a mondi 1655 through 1" PVC.

5K over 4x8 is total waste ....spread it over 8x8... 10x10 or even up to 12x12 with a light hanging in the middle.... but if u gonna stay with 4x8 2k is all u need 3 max but it aint gonna be beneficial. ..

I do agree with some of the comments however I do feel personally with the factors limited by available light that supplemental light does help. Hanging drop bulbs on the sides makes all the difference in the world when your lower and secondary branches start to become deprived of light.

I have 3 1,000 on top and 2 1,000 on the sides where there is no light penetrating my plants are each 8 ft tall by 3- 4 feet wide inch a 4x4 area is only 16 sq meters each one of my plants alone can take up a lot of light or the sides and lower branches will just die off
