Now that you've turned into Der Geist (und der Wald sogar!) you've started playing dirty games, boy!

Beware of the Eds though and the maenads as well
although you can have but a jolly time with the latter, although they did kill me!
Wonderful photography there, son!

:tiphat:

'In Greek mythology, maenads (Ancient Greek: μαινάδες, mainádes) were the female followers of Dionysus, the most significant members of the Thiasus, the retinue of Dionysus. Their name literally translates as "raving ones". Often the maenads were portrayed as inspired by him into a state of ecstatic frenzy, through a combination of dancing and drunken intoxication. In this state, they would lose all self-control, begin shouting excitedly, engage in uncontrolled sexual behavior, and ritualistically hunt down and tear to pieces animals — and, in myth at least, sometimes men and children — devouring the raw flesh. During these rites, the maenads would dress in fawn skins and carry a thyrsus, a long stick wrapped in ivy or vine leaves and tipped by a cluster of leaves; they would weave ivy-wreaths around their heads, and often handle or wear snakes.

The maddened Hellenic women of real life were mythologized as the mad women who were nurses of Dionysus in Nysa: Lycurgus "chased the Nurses of the frenzied Dionysus through the holy hills of Nysa, and the sacred implements dropped to the ground from the hands of one and all,as the murderous Lycurgus struck them down with his ox-goad." They went into the mountains at night and practised strange rites.'

should watch my head but my special thumb will help me of course:biggrin:

Isn't that sumac (Rhus typhina)?

Great thread by the way and a huge inspiration!!

:tiphat:

Exact.

'Hirschkolbensumach' , 'Essigbaum' (Rhus typhina)

'Deer-Piston-sumach'

Problem:

I want systemic submerge irrigation of 289 single pots.(120 x 120, 7x7)

-Classic flood/drain not possible, media is organic soil.
(I want no particle contamination in my nutrient solution, nor do i
want to clean a drain filter evereyday...)

would be no thing with correls but I want it organic...

hmmm? fuck.

Good day Waldgeist :)

Isn't flooding an organic media counterproductive to organic growing? I could most certainly be wrong, but I thought drowning the media like that was bad for the microherd? Do you plan to inoculate with worm tea every feeding?

Good day BAL:tiphat:

Exact.

They will recieve a 'chemorganic' nutrient solution (low ec + wormtea).

as 'used' air pockets in the media get refreshed every flooding, it actually turbocharges the microherd.

Im really amazed by those 'topora' fibers, they make for an extreme good drain and even, fast saturation.

Ah yes, Dr. Budgreengenes style :) I have been debating to submerge or not with my micro cab. Do you have any reading/links for the turbocharging aspect of submersive tea watering? I prefer reammended ROLS to liquid feedings, but this proves difficult in small containers--have you tried or thought about using fermented plant extracts?

You damned weed brainiacs, my head is hurting just by trying to understand the gathered info. Thanks anyway because in due time i´ll get there....maybe.

 NO, this is all personal non-scientific experience, ...

what seems to be important, if you try:

-root system and plant should have developed strong before using the full submerge
-its not that easy to get the right 'point' for submerging without overdrying the roots, what also seems to be media dependent

I have thought about different additives to my wormtea but it makes it more complicated, one big goal of myself is to keep it simple. they all use molasse ... , one can use honey, dextrose, vitamines etc ... its allready complicated

coco should work very good,
theres a guy in the joghurt cup thread that uses coco with drippers, his results got me goin right now

I will brew wormtea with it to see if it makes difference to molasse, the extra mag cant be bad.
so next round malawi gets the dextro-tea:biggrin:

dont expect much from indoors next weeks, preparing this hd mono takes some time ...
