Thank you for replys and advice! This is awesome!
Thanks Rasputin and all fellow gardners..While I have had great tasting strains before freshly dried, this strain (tp) is surely one if those so yup this is the last run im doing with this strain. I do have other beans on deck also but this serves as whats going to dictate the strains I choose next time shortly..... have sour bubble going at the moment...

purple og 18 , I can smoke her still damp and get flavor and a good high... I agree if something needs to cure before the taste comes out then it wasn't up to par in the first place, a good og can get chopped dried for three days and bagged and ready to go, call it a cure on the way type hookup but at the same time im talking about getting sold to a street dealer someone that knows a thing or two may want their smoke to have a nice cure on it ....:2cents:

If you can get ahold of the Albert Walker cut, it's worth a try. Straight off the tree she gives you some tangerine goodness.

i liked grapefruit d-lite. fresh dried tastes like straight grapefruit. it's also got c99 and chocolope in it's makeup, 2 strains i heard mentioned previously in here.

LA Confidential was best tasting strain so far and I thought tasted best (aka strongest) flavor right off the drying rack. 2nd was probably sweetooth #3. Blueberry I have takes a week or 2 in jar to make flavor come out but its pretty damn good just not very potent.

Harvesting some strawberry diesel, swt#3, critical mass, and pre 98 bubba tomorrow plus C99 and querkle in 2 more weeks so might be updating this list.

I can't agree that things that need to cure don't get better. Some sativa heavy strains in particular seem to benefit. Just my experience. HOWEVER, some things don't improve and are just shit. Waiting on a jar of sativa you didn't like in the first place is a pain for most and worse when it it's just a vintage jar of crap.

My c99 is OK just dry. But smoother two months down the road in a jar. It rarely makes it that far.

IME berry/haze crosses have a more hazey smell/taste when dried, which becomes more berry and less haze during cure.

Curing makes things smell different (sometimes better, sometimes worse).

Also not sure how drying with all your leaf still attached is supposed to reduce the hay smell like some people say..

^^ I don't know how, but it does.. hanging the plant whole, with leaves on till the end, gives me the best results. Tried lots of methods and nothing compares.. in my setup..

Well thats what I hope for the triple plat.now..That some cure will help the taste cuz off the branch is a no go... lol. The replys are great! Good info on experienced strains and the result for flavor after the dry.

I wasn't really thinking clearly when I wrote that, and didn't mean to say it doesn't work.
I can see how it could benefit in slowing down the drying process in the right environments.. I should have dried my fluffy ssh that way.

I have always found that the most elite strains/cuts taste great and flavorful w out a long cure,im not saying they don't get any better they do, but if I have something that requires a long cure to get some flavor its gone, ive never had something that changed from blah to top shelf strictly from the cure, its got it or It dosen't. my d cut og and my elite sour bubble both taste fantastic after only a week of drying 5 days dry 2 days in bag sweat and its ready and dank as fuck..cherry pie and strawberry cough are also like that super flavor no long cure,im a huge BOG fan grew his Sour Strawberry kush it was loud right away and he has a couple of C99 crosses ,some one had mentioned that strain too..
