Does anyone know what the hell aurora police are doing on literally every single intersection? every one... 3 cars on some blocks.... so much it just feels rather oppressive... what the fucks?
I haven't heard of anything special. But then that's not a surprise since I'm not down there.

Best to pay attention however.

on edit; Maybe they are spending our 'pot taxes' on overtime?

It almost seems like they're tryin to fluff up "crime" statistics... so they can point to those to justify their opinions...

ie: pull over an extraordinarily high amount of folk ... then point to the "rise in cannabis related DUI's"

Now that'd be a surprise.... wouldn't it? wink wink

All I could find is the double shooting that happened, but that doesn't merit what you are talking about, Sea. Hmm.....

In Other news, check out this CannaCup Berner is hosting. $1,000 for a 2 day stay free catering and lodging at an undisclosed location with 300 other people. Only 5 strains are competing. What a waste of money. I don't care if you're wealthy and the food is good and the mansion luxurious as fuck. Throwing money at this kind of stupid shit....Americans. I would never be able to justify that kind of spending even if I could afford it.

Aurora cops pile three deep on traffic stops so when one of their fellow officers is shot they can say they were busy.

You live right near Colfax, iirc. Aurora police have done that on & off for decades, trying to push the street life further west into Denver, at least for awhile.

You're legit. You live there. You belong there & you're not starting any shit. If they ask, show 'em, look 'em in the eye & ask how they're doing & what's up. From their perspective, they're trying to protect the good people of the neighborhood. You are one, so make it obvious.

Very true. Denver and Aurora PDs have been doing the push/pull on Colfax for over 30 years that I'm aware of... well closer to 40 now, I guess. It's in the name of 'cleaning up' Colfax.

Good luck with that!

edit; A lot of LEOs are pretty nervous these days. Lots more 'shots fired' incidents now.

OK sweeping generalization: Since 9-11 LEOs have turned into tactical gear happy, SUV driving, para-military wannabes (seriously balaclavas?). I see a lot of dogs being shot lately for no reason that I can figure except flat out intimidation. Best advice I ever got was treat police like they're rabid dogs. Be polite, dont make any sudden movements and get clear as quickly and quietly as possible.

And these days I would add, only invite them to your house via a call to 911 if it is 100% necessary because it can go south in a heartbeat and often somebody ends up dead.

That does seem to be the mentality they are hiring,, and developing.

Jack Boots soon to come?

MrTea, where the heck is Los Gatos?

Around here when you dial 911 you mark your calander and see if anyone even bothers to call that week. BUT if you don't have a front plate on your Corvette because the mounting location is your air intake you can count on swat waiting on every cornner to see if you take it out for a show so they can nail you to a cross and try to find a reason to confiscate it...Colorado State patrol are even dumber and more driven to "harrass and harry" rather than "protect and serve". We should start a class action suit against the pigglets to force them to change the saying on the cars...i am tired of such blatent faulse advertising.

You wouldn't happen to have a similar type thing going on up there for you SeafOur?

So update on the 4 Corners Kush.

It's gone.

I noticed a small whitish patch of of mold or fungus growing in a crotch in the devastated area, and at that point it was out of the garden.

Wife looked at it and said, "take cuttings because it will be dead in a day or two." Smart lady. Took six cuts from the last of the living tissue and will be interested to see what, if anything, happens.

The plant was a few weeks into flower and even better, I had just hit the flowers with some pollen the day before. If anything makes it as a clone, it will be a small miracle.

Something weird though, in areas where the stem had died off, rather than just dry inside it was running with dark brown liquid. When I took a couple of the cuts I started way long and incrementally nipped toward the fresh tissue. When you got to green stem it looked normal at the cut, but something funky was going on in the areas already compromised.

Sounds like root rot for sure, fusarium or the like, or possibly phytophthora. Too bad you didn't check the roots.

Kill it with fire.

2nd that. :comfort: Turn the soil up FAR away from your grow. After it dries and rides out a Colorado winter under 1 inch deep it should be safe to use for other gardening but NEVER back into the MMJ grow.

Check the main stem near the ground level. I lost 2 last year that were simillar (but much faster) and it turned out to be TERMITES!
You NEVER know untill you do a thurough disection and evaluation.
