Leave them grow if height isn't an issue mate . Be worth the weight . Are they fems or regs ? If they are fems do a sog . A lot of plants for a 1.2m area . I would still give them a week or single colas . Looking healthy anyway pall.

Isn't it risky with sativas? I have 2 meters though, but I'm scared as I'm a bit newbie you know :dance013:
They are fems, I was thinking about doing a selection too, but to be honest I'm not sure when to do it and how to do it... I definitely need some help...
I was planning to do a SOG initially, but I discarded the idea temporary as I was unsure about my conditions for the summer and did a different selection of strains...

if roots are out the bottom, pot em up
when roots are out the bottom of their final pot, flower em

In that case I assume I should transplant them already?
Aren't the sativas going to grow too much until that point?

Thanks :tiphat:

Update... I'm gonna start transplanting them to the 7L... I was thinking about start with the smaller ones and leave the sativas in the 3L pots so they don't stretch too much while I even up the others... good idea? bad idea? any suggestions? :tiphat:

If you are going to be flowering all of those in that one tent, then I'd pot all up and flick to flower in a day or so.

The high plant numbers will mean the plants will have no option but to stretch. But then I also wouldn't say you have what I would call unruly sativas.

In that case, would you do a SOG instead? I'm a bit unsure at this moment... I planted so many and different strains as I wanted to make sure that I fill the tent succesfully for the 1st time, but the results are exceeding my expectations...

I don't know guys... I'm afraid that I may be complicating myself too much, as I still don't have that much experience (only autos) and it's my 1st time with reg fem seeds..
Maybe I should forget about the sativas and keep 9 (the NL x BBs + Hubble Bubbles + BB2 + Tangilope) and transplant them in 11L pots and give them more space? I need to make a decision asap...

I'd do a sog.

If you scrog them into a net you'll have major probs with plants finishing before others.

I did a run of 35 sativas in a dr150. All germed under 12/12. Struggled to fit them all in.

If you flicked all them now you'll be very happy with the return.

Ok! I've just transplanted them to the 7L pots... gonna flip in a couple of days...
I'm gonna do a SOG then... will use the advices that I got from Piff Rhys Jones and try to do my best... :good:

I've transplanted almost all of them already, but they don't show signs of stress (leaves down) or whatsoever... they are the same than yesterday... I transplanted them and water them with Rhizzotonic until they were draining a little bit from the bottom... and today when I checked I realized that they stopped growing, which I know it's normal... but the leaves they all look the same... is it normal?

I have never experienced stress when potting on. Plants just get bigger as they realise they have more room for roots.

I have read this too, but in my 15 plus years of growing, both weed and other plants, it's something I have never seen.

Perhaps is your heavy handed and smash the roots about then maybe, but if careful I see no reason for them to stress

I see... I wish I had your experience mate!

Do you recommend me to top them to make two leaders per plant like I've been told? If yes, how/when should I do it?

Cheers :tiphat:

This is how things looks like after the transplant... 16 of them are already in their 7L pots... and I have 2 Durban Poison (the 2 smallest ones) that I don't know what to do with them... I'm thinking about flipping in 1-2 days... what you guys think about the set up? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance :tiphat:

So what you guys think? Should I flip already? It's been more than 3 weeks already... some of them are like 30-40 cms already... I don't want to get myself in trouble... still too unexperienced!
Some others (the indicas) are still 20 cms or so... trying to focus the light on them mainly right now, but I cannot get to even them up much... their genetics dominate...
