Haha. What a joke. They can't place with their shitty flowers in any other cups, so they make their own. Genius!

Isn't that how every cup is these days??? A group of people puts on a "contest" and gives the "prizes" to their friends. How do you think Greenhouse got so many cups? I would feel like an asshole winning any kind of a cup these days because these contests are such a joke that it probably means you didn't deserve it and were only awarded it by your buddies. lulz

Nepotism Cup. lmao! It's amazing adults take these things seriously.

Yes and no. High times has a lot to do with advertising $, not so much being "buddies" with HT. I know lots of people that are friends with all of the writers and editors of HT and have entered a bunch of times and haven't won. and I know people that don't know any of the HT people, entered once and placed.

This is how it goes for the smaller companies and in the US. The Amsterdam cup seems more political and $ based in my opinion.

Now all of these small time local competitions is a different story. In MI, one dude has placed 18 times in the last 3 years. However, he also entered 22 samples in one competition, and paid $1500 to be on the cover of the publication holding the event. It's just a money grab, but it's amateur. At least HT is a professional money grab, for real amounts of money.

The only transparent competition that exists is ICmag 4/20 cup. Having the voting electronically calculated and open to everyone to view on the Internet is the way to go.

That's what I meant. Buddies/business partners.

Oh I totally agree with you hiding. That's why I said people shouldn't become seed makers until they can atleast grow or atleast have grown more than a couple harvest and have atleast 10 years of growing under there belt.

My main point was about having to grow out a 1000 or even a hundred seeds of a single cross I feel that is a waste of space. Growing 30 should let you know what is in the line. Then again maybe I'll say 40 to look through because of males and females.

Very well said. I feel the same way. I also think that, when it Comes to selection, one must have attention to detail andPattern. The better the breeder/polken chucker is at attention to detail and a healthy rapport with growing the plant, one should be able to use less selection over mass loads.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. I believe this is the "hybrid" pheno of Lime Cookies. Lime Kush x Forum Gsc. Think the forum cut was reversed for pollen. I have been told several times. My memory slips with my old age.

it my be transparent but after seeing what that one guy voted on the gg4 its still far from perfect. I know theres those that will say I am biased and I am but seeing all the other votes and then one guys votes were so low on every category I have to say it was sandbagged.

Thanks! This flower has been pretty steady 85-90 degrees. Plants were really stressed a couple weeks ago during a heat wave that is about to repeat itself around here. I usually like my flower rooms around 78 and 800-1000ppm co2. I jumped the co2 to 1300-1500 last week. Plants are going nuts now. I'm shooting for 10Lbs out of this 6k room and 10z from this lime cookie plant in 7gal of coco. She's about 5ft tall and 4ft wide and still got a little stretch left in her.
