is it poss to vac purge now it is solid or must it be runny?
Itis possible, but you answered your own question
The oil must be in a molten state(runny) whilst the vac is applied.
Most often, I set my temps just a bit over 115 >117F before applying vac.
So, most definitely you can still vac purge, but you'll have to melt her down,flatten very thin, and start de-gassing.

nice job w/ the hair dryer. I tried that but almost ruined everything. Didnt have a lot of shatter to start with and the dryer blew with a lot more force than I expected. Sad to say I lost like half a gram to the floor when the drier just blew my shatter right off the parchment!

this is second time, to be honest the 1st one i did a few months back was a lovely translucent piece of amber like a boiled sweet, this one doesnt really let light penetrate whereas I could see thru the last one
BUT
the last time one was rough on the lungs so i turned it into chocolate
whereas this one is smooth as u like even though its not had a professional purge, so im really pleased with that
nice and strong too but more of a creeper high than i was expecting
will def invest in a vac purge after next harvest and then a closed loop proper skunk pharm thing next year

yeah thanks, the hair dryer worked well, it was more molten when i used it so it didnt fly off

Blasted about an oz of Bluebubble trim today. Saved a few drops off the initial blast and put it through the toaster oven. Got about .61g here and more shatter like than wax. I froze the butane before and tried to freeze the packed tube but only put the tube in for about 10 minutes.
I am winterizing the rest right now, I'm guessing about 5g total out of ~28g

Finished up with the winterized stuff today. Definitely my best looking stuff yet and best ethanol purge yet. Really getting the hang of the primitive methods Im using. Can't wait to get a vacuum setup.

looks like some decent shatter... what kind of containers you got there? sorry if i didnt catch this but what strain did you use? i ask because it came out a little dark (not necessarily bad)... how does it smell? regaurdless from looks alone it i would say it seems decent. good work soldier. enjoy

Did a nug run with an oz of Bluebubble a couple days ago. Winterized and filtered w/ .2 micron syringe filter since the buds were next to buds that had very minor Botrytis. Came out good, really flavorful and stronger than the trim run. Looks better now than with these pictures but I have it put away.
