:lurk: just curious did you take the labels off of the bottles?

Pleasure to have you here tleaf jr!

I was just looking at some of your stuff, or should I say admiring your work!

I live less than 1 hour from the store and was able to pick up my order and save quite a few dollars in all.

But to answer your question straight out.
No, I did not remove the labels, that is how they came.

I think they are like that due to me picking them up, and I did rush their sales guy,who was very busy, but did get me in and out fast!
This is my first nutrient line purchase from them.
I have purchased raw salts and hormones many times but never their nute line up!

Thanks for stopping by:tiphat:

I have used GH 3 part in the past and the micro tends to darken the water a bit!

I do get a little Ph fluctuation at first, but I find it helps to mix them up and then lower the PH slowly using phosphoric acid to around 5.2-5.5 let the mix sit, go burn one:smoke out: come back and make sure it is where you want it, then I give it to the plants.

The PH will raise up just a little over the course of a few days but after that it seems to stabilize.

Hope that helps

Here is the skinny on the Lemon Cake strain.

It was gifted to me as a reject, due to the fact it was a low production plant.
So the first time I grew it, I pushed it with some hormone treatments.
The result was a good yielding plant!

So this time I let her go on her own to see her natural tendencies, and she really stretched out.
She will not yield what she did last time although it is a smaller(less bushy)plant.

She started out on GH 3 part and about week 2 of flower, but we will have to wait and see how the production pans out!

Hey
newtothiscoco

Welcome!:tiphat:

I thought the same thing, but I use the same mix for the bubble buckets.

The problem:
It is either the hydro absorbs the nutes faster or because the mom is a much bigger plant she wants to eat more!

I will try a touch more food....not yet.....she is in stretch mode!

I think I will try your suggestion and feed the mom just a tiny bit more than her girls.
She looks hungry and seems to be entering flower slower than the clones!

Found another SolisMax88 grow starting over at CC... bout time people started doing some journals with them...

https://cannabis.community.forums.o...rer-coco-blumats-rocket-pots-grotek-solistek/

Cheers for doing one too Shaggy ;)
Thanks I went there and looked around a bit.

But:
Funny you should say that!
I liked the new Max88 so much I just bought another complete setup!

Hood, Matrix, splitter the whole shot for my other room!
I love the huge footprint.(I was needing a bit more in the corners)
I love the flexibility of the reflector to be able to change the light spectrum at will.
I love the chains that hold the glass while changing bulbs and cleaning the glass....very very easy!

I will try to take some pics of that when I can.

If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to ask or suggest please!

I am a carpenter by trade so spread sheets are not my thing at all.
I can probably give you the NPK numbers for each bottle....if that will give you what you need to do your spread sheet?

Let me know if I can help!

Oh thought I noticed before on one of your grows you were using the GH spread from angelfire.com...
and you got the hydrobuddy link in your sig so maybe you started to make your own nutes?

I have not made my own nutes yet!
I have been putting all my effort into hormone experiments.
But the only real fact I could come up with is, use the hormones at ultra low levels.
This is due to the fact that they are heavily strain and timing dependent.
I still have to figure out hydro buddy completely.
I get stuck on simple things sometimes!
I do hope to mix my own nutes someday I have a few profiles in mind but I am just not ready yet.

I used to believe the hydro-store hype but I am beyond all that now.
