some of my best seeds came from pollen chuckers. I think things like cookies that are still slightly new to the breeding world youd be better off getting seeds made by a friend or a fellow ic-er. Most of the big name seed companies are just capitalizing on the name and many don't even have a cut to work with, just find something similar looking and label it cookies.

I think he's talking about wookie= forum x the white made by Cannarado. Some legit phenos coming out of that cross.

Def some legit phenos. Talk about potency bump IMO. Smells are creamier too. Im running some that a homie mad other way as well- white x gsc forum reversed. Look nice and homie has found some bangers.

Not wise to sleep on the new "dreamers" of today's breeding society.. I would take this blueberry cross over any cookies, any day..View Image View Image View Image View Image View ImageCannafornia batf

No offense looks nice and frosted but about as low yield as cookies. Many, if not most of cookies hybrids I've seen are surpassing the mom. And very very few of the BB hybrids I've seen hold a candle to a few of the old cuts.

No offense to alien dawg or whatever but his seeds are super unstable, at least the batch I had. Be very careful! Stupid lbtf pollinated up my whole room and were so unstable.

Why no offense? That kid is the Bain of this forum. He's exactly what is wrong with the industry. 21 year old kids who think they're breeders and can sell seeds of garbage pollen chucks untested. I've been growing since that dude was in middle school, and after years of being friends with actual well known proper breeders, I'm just now starting to experiment with making some seeds. It's more important to be picky about breeding plants, than any other choices you make in this game. You can ruin a lot of people's year with bad seeds.

not a fan of kids jumping right into selling seeds when they haven't even done a few rounds of testing, or even attempted to create their own strains before pollen hacking other peoples work. I've been quietly testing my own seeds since i got forum and animal over 3 years ago, i could have cashed in hard on S1 or crosses but i didn't feel comfortable releasing anything untested, me and my friends have found a hell of a lot of cool cuts in those crosses. my loss since over a dozen "breeders" out there are selling untested f1 of those same cuts…thats just not the way i want to do things.

yep, you can get lucky but the odds are against us from the start being that damn near every elite out there was either a accident or a bag seed find, makes you wonder if putting in the time breeding is really worth it, you have to be a dedicated person with a plan.

I'm betting the competition is steep and seeing how major companies have penetrated the seed industry on the current agriculture market I can only dream what some scientist are working on in a $1M lab.. we will see a shift in marijuana breeding over the next 10 years.

or we just have to be at least 3 years ahead of the next big thing lol

Well, major companies are courting the current class of breeders, cause they don't know where to start when it comes to cannabis. So changes will be dictated by people we already know. Let's hope none of them take the money to splice the kill gene in. Then we're all fucked.

Is breeding cannabis actually that hard? If u can read, and retain information, you can breed cannabis.. I'm pretty certain that any grad, of any science, could figure it out, quickly...don't think the big business owners are gonna have to seek anybody out..
I like how cannabis breeders act like its some type of rocket surgery and no one else can do it.. it's entertaining..
Trust me,, if a bunch of high school drop out stoners can do it, anybody could if they wanted to...

anybody can pollen hack a plant, but will your results even be good? to really do true breeding you need a giant grow operation to sort through hundreds of males and females. people who only pack a 10pack of seeds for their f1 cross are doing the breeding game a major disservice. for example yesterday i saw a particular "new breeder" decide that he was going to use a male he found from ONE bean for their next release. without even flowering the male out fully, without even testing the progeny to see what traits that male had…just "hey found this last seed was a male, lets use it in a publicly released cross before i even know what good with it!"

i selected from 30+ males this year and i still dont think thats enough to really find what i want, to be sure i found the best possible stud….wish i could flower out and sort through 100+ males but that is not easy to do.
